Hello, I'm glyph. I live in New Jersey, drive a 99 silver car boosted by (), somebody who boosts cars. Their kit, my work. I was introduced to this forum by 95nracer.

(edited by 2point4DSM: just a big misunderstanding.)

[edit]
Here we go:
1999 Mazda Protege ES with a Mental Addiction Motorsports Turbo kit, and a bunch of other stuff. But the boost kit is my favorite mod to the car, as I'm more about performance than looks.

I just put the basic pic in my garage. I don't have much here on the laptop. I'll get more up soon. Thanks to this site I found the mazda zoomzoomlive thing and signed up. I'll be there on Sunday at 3pm. That should be a lot of fun.

That's rather big brother of you.

(edited by Wil: This is not a place to discuss/argue your point so I deleted it. Sorry for the misunderstanding. We will take this to PMs and hopefully work it out so everyone is happy. :) )

glyph

I assume that means before the thread is locked? (the tread is not getting locked -edited before a misunderstanding gets too out of hand- Wil)

Yea, it's a huge inside joke with the TSTers. Good luck with that man and I hope you at least enjoyed the friendly welcome from the other members.

P.S. Clean car

I have the original street sleeper kit, which has since been revised with a prettier manifold and such. Unfortunately I got my kit right before the revision, not knowing it was coming. I still have some issues I need to iron out. My fuel system isn't up to the task, so I need bigger injectors, and my exhaust manifold has pulled the threads out of the block, whether due to my amateur install techniques or what I'm not sure. So I have to "perma-coil" the threads, and I'm going to buy new studs from a recommended vendor on a mazda forum I frequent.

In current form with the mentioned injector restrictions, I went from 100hp at the wheels to 130. I should be getting closer to 150 at my current 5 psi.

I did enjoy them thanks.

Thanks for all the car props. There's a beautiful FMIC you can't really see in the pics, either.

oh come on IBTL is used on all forums, its not specific to TST, give us a break, haha.

and yeah, i spoke to glyph about this and hopefully all is well. we arent quite as strict on the 'no advertising' thing posted in the current rules but 2point4 wasnt aware of that. everything should be straightned out and the bottom line is that as long as it doesnt get out of hand and you are not directly associated with a shop, its alright to discuss them in passing and even have a link up. but we do keep an eye on what looks like good helpful info and what looks like actual advertising.
