I raced 2 bpu supras. Black one and a white. 1st and 2nd gear i destroyed them. Anything above 3rd gear he would pull me. Those things are jet planes.

The video clearly showed the speedo at ~125, after we had begun slowing down. I'm not one to make up stories. I even said it in the video itself. This car accelerates amazing quickly at 100+. Also, keep in mind that from the angle, the speedo reads slower than we are actually going.

Pete, I reset my ecu after that race, as you know, and the car got quicker. Now it's even faster with the new gofast parts. Can't wait for teh FMIC.

I don't doubt your perception of quickness at 100+ but everything is relative of course.
And the Supra's sweet spot is at 100+.

What are you talking about? The supra jumped on the gas before me. There is no car in front of the supra until the very end of the video, way after the race is over. I shift at 6500rpms, and continue well into 6th. Those are 135+mph speeds.

yeah that howling you hear is the 125+ mph howling that all WRX/STis have, so that how i knew how fast he was going. although its hard to believe that a supra wouldnt beat up on everything, i highly doubt he would have played around with an STi to over 100 at partial throttle.

Easy math here. A simple BPU Supra puts out 400-420rwhp, so you're short about 100rwhp. Since you didn't go from a stop, you can't claim any AWD advantage. And from a roll the Supra has the overwhelming edge in both gearing and coefficient of drag, perfectly suited for 100+mph runs.

The likelihood is that you raced a stock Supra which puts down 290-300rwhp, which is in your ballpark.

End of story.

I updated it today to reflect my change from an Injen intake to the Perrin shorty intake, and my addition of an APS BOV. Otherwise, the list is identical.

Yup, RWD. On street tires I have no traction under 35mph. I just ordered a set of 275/50R17 M&H DR's, those should help out. I was running ET Streets at the track, but have a new set of Hoosiers ready to go for this season :D

I've heard nothing but good things about M&H's. Plus, they're the only 17" DR available in a 28" tall size (26" is too short for our trucks, at least to run all the time and not look goofy, IMO). I'll let you know how the work out for me, I should have some track times in a few weeks.
