Monthly Pittsburgh Meet

Just wanted to let the local guys know about this:

For the past five years the Pittsburgh area Subaru community has been meeting at the Robinson Township Quaker Steak and Lube. The Robinson Township Quaker Steak and Lube is located at 110 Andrew Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15275-1200. Everyone is welcome (Subaru owner or not). We have not missed a meet in over five years so you can count on us being there!

Typical meets start out by watching the parade of cars stream in around 6PM. This quickly transitions to a bunch of guys talking cars in the parking lot.
After an hour or so we move inside for wings, beers, and more car talk. Meets usually last until 10PM or later. The typical age group is 20-50.

As a general rule, all meet dates are on the first Wednesday of the month unless the first Wednesday coincides either New Years day or July 4th. In these rare occasions the QSL meet will take place on the 2nd Wednesday of the month.

It's deffinitely a good time. I've had my Saab up there a few times when my buddy Ryan's bug eye is down. We showed up late at this last one and counted around 25-30 Subaru's and a few other random vehicles.

now i get why i always say you guys when i was going to college.(which was quite a waste).... i was the always the guy that came there with the 93 formula firebird(red) with a 383 stroker...10.5 slicks and skinnies and open headers. Never stopped and talked though sadly.

I think that I remember you driving by. I don't know if that is Mator's car. There are quite a few WRB cars with FMIC's.

lol you couldnt miss it.... id pull out and take a left... romp it for the 50 feet or so to the light... and have to idle my way onto the free way because of not having tires up front....then romp on it again under bridge going to 22/30.


bunch a nice subys up there though.

i know i kinda like being different... subys in pittsburgh is like a dsm in northeast ohio... everyone has at least two.

although we are developing quite the suby crew up here now to......i am sadly thinking about getting one as a mildly done up DD/winter beater/snowboarding whip.

I think I rember you too. Next meet reintroduce yourself....just smack me on the back of the head and say, "hey @$$ I'm the one from TST". LOL.

I usually come with Ryan Moore (Black 02 WRX that won the Vintage this year), his brother Brandon (Silver 9-2x), Drew Hill (Urban Gray monster STi), Adam Beck (Red LGT), Kev (Yellow 02 WRX).

oh this sping ill be down to come down. i moved back to cleveland. and you guys are only like... 2 hours at most(with the way i drive) so it would be an easy trip after work...leave work be there like 7 ish. dont know if ill be bringing the bird though. shes been pretty much turned into a track car :( but i have a few more toys ill bring down.
