09 Ralliart Lancer on Street Road this morning

I just noticed as it passed me this morning, it was a dark gray or maybe even black Ralliart. I didnt know they were out yet. Its kinda cool how they look just like regular lancers, If any one would appreciate that it would be me lol.

they might as well just call the car "Evo Jr"

it is, I think thats where Subaru got its idea for the new WRX. 264 hp should keep the Ralliart at bay stock.

yea they are nice, I've looked them up, but yet to see one in person. They are def going to be sneaky rides, underestimated by most. I agree with Buster, it's funny how they look just like the Lancer GTS, aside from the 70 HP difference.

sweet that they're out. Just looked into them now and compared with the wrx... seems like the wrx is still the better option, unless you really like the lancer... any clue if its out yet whether or not either mitsu or subaru have release bhp or whp as the advertised number?

wrx being a few hundred pounds lighter and more powerful has me leaning towards that... if i were interested in buying either one that is

I dont know if this has been posted on here or not, but there are some really bad issues with early built 09 WRX's. So far over on NASIOC.com there are 30 some people who have experienced spun rod bearing causing severe rod knock on their 09 WRX. The problem has occured with people reguardless of it they broke it in properly or not.

The list posted on the site all state that the build dates of the cars are all in July/Aug 08.

I test drove a Ralliart at Beans In Doylestown a couple months ago. I would say take the Rex. Ralliart has no manual option, only paddle shifters which are kinda slushy, even in sport mode. If I remeber correctly as well, if you hit redline, it'll upshift when you're in paddle mode. There were four people in the car during the drive, but it wasn't fast, just torquey like my Focus. It's a street cruiser, and for the price you could get a MS3, Rex, Cobalt SS, etc. and have more fun. Of course, you could just pay more and get the EVO X which was also taken on a test drive and was fun.

Yes, SST tranny only. That will limit the mod potential.
