your right about that, but he can deff get the price lower, most salesman wont do that. would you rather buy a car from someone you dont know? or someone you know who is working for you? he still makes the same money regardless of how much he sells the car for.

Had to chime in here. When I was lookin for my car I went up to reedmans cause they had just gotten a WRX in on the used lot. I was lookin at a 2005 Silver one at Glansman that I almost bought but I figured I would see what they had. Well when we got there the "sales" person that we spoke to was helpin someone else. So we asked to speak with someone else but everyone that we tried to talk to told us they couldnt help us cause we already spoke to someone. Mind you this was only over the phone and I didnt come up here to wait around till this women was done with this other customer. (who didnt even look like they would pass the credit app) anyways we walked the entire lot tryin to find this WRX they had. When we had walked back into check out the newer car finally someone overheard me bitchin to my cuz about the service and this manager said he could help. He calls up the "head" of used cars for the guy to come pick us up and show us the car. As we are driving to the car he tells me "you will love this car it was traded in last night and its clean" OK I say tell me about the car. Well it had 11 k on it carbon fiber hood with a body kit and the 22 year old kid that traded it in got a lighting truck to replace it. After hearing this there was almost no point in even lookin at this car. Well I played the game and asked what his price was.. He came in over what they wanted for the WRX at glansman. WAY OVER priced for that car. I ended up getting a brand new one for almost the same price and they were tryin to sell me that car.. just my 2 cents mabye I just had a bad experiance up there.

I hate Reedman's. Everytime I've ever walked in there they jump all over me before I shut my car door and slap with with their card. Then they tell me what they think I'm looking for. And half of their salespeople don't speak the entire English language. Then they give me a hard time because I'm browsing. Glanzman Subaru was awesome when I was there last week. Maybe thats because I dealt with Mark Glanzman haha.

I think it comes down to like 23k. Look online for a source that will give you the invoice price and make sure you take it to the dealership with you.

i don't know about reedman's, but where i work, i'll get in trouble if i don't greet, and walk with customers. that could be one of the reasons you feel hounded at certain dealerships. on that same note, many customers want assistance on the lot, but won't speak up, and then bad-mouth the dealership because of a lack of service. to be honest, i would rather let customers look around before "hounding" them, but i can't, i'll get sent home, and then i won't make any money which is teh suxors. just my 2cents

Wish you would of posted a few weeks ago. My sisters husbands dad owns a Subaru dealer, on the other hand he is the parts manager, so i get hooked up on mad stuff.
