Anyone ever do it?

I have a 08 se and started the process.

I have everything off and the seat back on just to see if I like it. Well I do. Now I'm going to put a sportbike tire hugger on it. Also do some abs plastic on the underside of the seat. Brakelight and turnsignals also.

Figure now would be the time to try something new considering I am awaiting exhaust.

Pics do it no justice...

Not my bike but you get the idea..imo it sticks out to far and doesn't hug the tire.

Right now my bike doesn't look so bad because the tag/blinker assembly is still on the bike. It hangs down below the fender. Well I want to get rid of that but I can't stand the way the fender looks without it. So I figure eliminate the fender.

I'm either going to put a tire hugger from a sportbike on it or fab up some sheetmetal as a mini fender under the seat.

600...slammmmed. Its my buddy's girls. She's all of 4'9".

Few updates..nothing final just some small progress.

I took some mild steel and cut it to fit the bottom of the seat that would be open to the elements. I used the studs for the seat strap and rear fender mount to hold the sheet metal down. I then used a small piece on the rear fender mount to block water/debris from getting into the wiring harness under the seat. Also doubled as a plate mount. This is all mock up picks and nothing is final. I'm going to take it all off clean up the edges, prime, and paint everything.

Enough rambling here's some pics.
