Dont know if you would be interested, but there are always tons of food jobs available on craigslist http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/fbh/

I know it would only be temporary but this is the time of the year when some places are looking for holiday help up until Christmas. I'm sure the hiring might be less this due than past years due to the economy but thought i'd throw it out there.. +1 to Craigslist. That is where I get 95% of my work these days...

personally I get my jobs from monster/career builder. lots a BS on there like craigslist but if you sift through it you find some good stuff.

if you don't mind taking a trip up the 476 to allentown everyday, tmobile's call center is ALWAYS hiring, starting at like 13 or 14/hour plus benefits...at minimum work there for the 2 months of paid 9am-5pm training while you look for another job.

Dude I'm in the same shoes. I lost my job about a month ago for being on the damn computer and I can't find anything. I'm not even sure if I want to work on cars anymore. I dunno what to do.

Now that Philly's Craigslist is charging $25 a job posting, most employers are now advertising on other local Craigslists, mainly allentown.craigslist.org b/c it's free there. Take a look ; I know they post alot of Montco jobs all over that site.
