I was referred by LadyRx7 to join the board. I currently have a lightly modifiied 03 Spec V, okay it's a little more then lightly. I have a pretty good knowledge of the QR25 and to my knowledge the 2nd fastest Spec V on the road (there were two faster but both were totaled). I look forward to getting to know you guys.

hey man welcome to the forum. theres a couple of turbo spec-v's on here there preety nice, one actually runs 12's on slicks and is building his motor right now for over 400 Hp. hopeully well see u at the meets one time

I'm going off the vboard, b15, and QR25DE.net and what people have posted. The only one I know of is SpecMe that has run faster with 2.067 60', 13.057 @ 108.14. Hopefully next time I get to the track I'll be in the 12's with street tires if I can keep my tires clean so my 60' will drop .

110 trap.. that is very nice. Last time I went to the track, I had it on 10 psi and my first time on my slicks... first run... launched, bogged.. got traction.. and boom, the car went off. blew the MAF... got a new maf, and was afraid to go back and repeat that process.

The motor and another secret goodie start to go in November 7th, should take a few days, and I'll break it in for 500 miles, then tune. What psi did you run that run at, and did you have to shift into 5th?

I was running 11psi and I had to shift into 5th. 4th gear was breaking up on me.

I launch at around 2600 on that run, but when I launched at 3500 I got off the line alot harder. The problem came with 2nd and ealry 3rd I would just spin like crazy becuase of all of the crap built up on the tires

Welcome! Nice Spec, kinda sleeperish with the grill to protect the front mount.

That sixty foot sucks! What kind of tires are you running now? If you can't get bellow a 2.0 with your sixty foots I say get a good set of drag radials or slicks, but I recommend drag radials less shock to the driveline and less broken parts. With your trap speeds you should be able to get mid 12 sec times.

What kind of clutch and axles are you running?

Yea I know the 60' sucks I launched at to low of rpm(2500), but hey it was my first run ever at a track. I spent the rest of the night fighting massive wheel spin. I'm running Brigstone Potenza RE750 225/45WR17. I still have the stock clutch which I really need to replace, but the stock axles are fine as long as I don't wheel hop to bad. I'm trying to go bad to the track on the 18th of Nov so hopefully I can clean the tires off better and get the 60' down to around 2.050 which should get me into the 12's
