Don't put an AFC on a Honda, please.

why not? i thought they were good for controlling teh vtak? it seemed like a big feature with the neo

lemme guess, it messes with timing...?

If I am not mistaken the 6th gen's had the F22 engines. Not all of them had Vtec, so you must have an EX?

Yep.

Those AFCs manipulate the MAP signal, showing the ECU more or less voltage to make the ECU think there is more/less pressure which means it will input more/less fuel and more/less timing.

Plus, Honda set the VTEC points on those engines at the spots they did for a very good reason, because that's the best spot to have them.

Lastly, you can get a chipped ECU for ~175, tune it on the free software for relatively cheap and the car will run just fine. (I had to do this to my CRX).

AFC Neo's cost 250+ new and will more or less do nothing but hurt the performance.
