like it says... he wanted 4 tires mounted and balanced for the winter, well i get it in and take the rims off, and start to dismount them. he had the tires from the factory still on it (bridgestone potenza's) and it took 2 people and 3 bars to dismount them... they are the biggest pain in the a$$es in the world. i worked in tire shops for 4 years and there by far the worst tires ive ever did. i wanted to ask him if he was on here but i didnt get a chance too, but if he is... man, WHAT A PAIN IN THE A$$

What kind of machine are you using??
I did Barry's(s4tosti) in like 40 minutes by myself..

when i had my 225/45/17 S-03s swapped from one wheel to anther my guy struggled with them a lot. low profile and stiff sidewall plus being careful with my pretty new wheels = bryan being very late to where he was going because he didnt plan on being at the shop for 2 hours for the tire swap.

I guess it's worth it to buy cheap beater wheels from the TireRack for your winter tires.

it really sucked... and it did really take 2 people and 3 bars to do them. our machine is made to do custom wheels (soft plastic mounting head, etc...), it was just the tires. the sidewalls were almost as stiff as the goodyear runflats

It took the ntb in langhorne a little over an hour to do 2 19's for me. 235/35/19

We have the new Snap on tire machine,capable of doing 26's.Biggest i've done so far is a 24 inch rim,10inches wide with a 40 series tire.took me about 1.5 hours to mount and balance all 4.The new tire machines anymore make it so easy to do.But i've had the hardest times with 18's for some reason with a 30 series tire,they are a pain in the arse.

yeah its a coats... brand new (about a year old), its made to do custom wheels... it was just the tires, they were hard as a rock. and it didnt help that it was cold as hell out either

i hate getting tires mounted with a passion...getting my VOLKS done almost gave me a heart attack

trust me... i sweat bullets when i do custom wheels, they suck

i bet. i want to get my VOLKS demounted so i can sell the rims and tires seperate, but its not worth it anymore to me. ill just have to get another set mounted and balanced to replace these and go through that crap again.
