sorry to hear, but car shows and meets are such an easy spot to get picked out to either be followed or get your car on the list of cars that they want to steal, i hope you find it in one pieces and everything still there

Well make sure you keep an eye on craigslist parts for Philly and local areas. Usually they sit on them for a little while then they get greedy.

Sorry for your loss. Looked like a decent ride. Again sorry. There's a lot of haters on hondas, but for me, I think they're decent cars..I'll never buy one though because of what keeps happening constantly to honda owners......stolen stolen stolen....its a damn shame...

having a car stolen sucks i feel your pain (had my srt stolen) hondas are tough there is a large market for stolen parts unfortunatly. Keep us informed when they find it, where, and whats missing. All you can do is try to bust who took it.

Because it is a Honda and they are as easy to steal as a pack of gum at the supermarket. I feel bad though because that car is a good looking Civic.

still curious to see what kind of security you had on the car. unless it was flatbedded, you can usually make your car pretty immobile.

i'm wondering also. i know it sucks A LOT having a car stolen, but i keep wondering if at least any of the "free mods" were done to slow the thief down. my integra now has so many wiring harness check and balances.. all controlled by one perfectly hidden switch. not to mention the hood cable relocated, the 'auto door lock mod', etc etc. if i'm going to leave my car anywhere for a length of time, the switch will get flipped and the layered security starts to work.
i'm not trying to say it's your fault it got stolen, but there are a lot of things that you need to do if you own a honda unfortunately.

i wish you best of luck bro finding your car.

i had a viper alarm with an immobilizer...i installed it myself and hid the brain pretty well along with wiring it so it wasn't obvious. nrg quick release with a nrg lock. had the supplies to do a fuel kill switch to install over thanksgiving break. guess i won't have to do that now.

I had a Viper alarm w/immobilizer, laser cut keys, club, In gear w the parking break on, and a truck parked at the bottom of the driveway, oh and a car cover on it and they still got it while i was sleeping. Woke up to a cover and club thrown in the bushes Noting is "unstealable" just as the titantic wasent unsinkable. My car has a Revelco Immobilizer (removable plug that breaks up the Engine harness in random untraicable orders) Also being an electrician i wired it into my home alarm so if its moved my home alarm will go off and the police will come. Good luck with finding your car my freinds single cam auto civic was also stollen from levittown a couple weeks ago. The things missing were retarted.

thats what i was trying to get at. a couple of your first serious mods should be security mods. even a simple kill switch COULD help you out.

I think it's a pretty sad world we live in that people steal ****. There are many nice cars around, but that doesnt mean that people have to steal them. People work hard for what they have, and for some a-hole to ruin it is pretty low.
My friend has the same car in red and 5sp, but he blew up his D block and got a B in it now. As much as people don't like hondas, I like how well their cars are built.

if people are scummy enough to buy it, people will be scummy enough to steal it and sell it.

I had a non-running sc400 stolen. I think some mechanic with a towtruck stole it. If they want it bad enough, they'll just flatbed it away.
Good luck!

If you know what you're looking for you can disable those Viper alarms in about 5 seconds. As soon as you nix power to them they are useless, and just about everyone gets power from the column. Just a heads up for next time.
Honestly, best security for a modded Honda is a garage and a DD. :/

damn, that story is so disheartening to anybody with security devices... but anyway, to the OP that sucks man... i might also make a separate thread calling attention to reading people to take a look out since alot of stolen cars apparently end up there

just because you have an alarm doesnt mean its untouchable. if they want it bad enough they will steal it.
