Let me know what you all think.

Click The Image for Large Size

For whatever reason the larger version of the pano looks like it has duller color not sure why.

the first one looks bad, the colors seem to be way under saturated

and the second one looks ok but, it was done last week by blue 32

Honduh thats classic.

tredvento i appreciate you posting george's picture but i tend to disagree that they are the same even though they are taken from the same location. Thanks for also saying the first one looks bad, what ever happened to if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. With that being said i leave you with this

hi barry...

i like them both. I think the first one would be sweet with a little highlight/shadow tweak to really set the buildings in the foreground apart a little more.

Hey stranger never see you post anymore. Yeah that one is pretty tweeked the original wasn't very good at all. It was kind of a last minute idea that i went with. The orginial was very dark so that one is brought up alot already.

Saying something is bad isn't critique. If you would have said something constructive i wouldn't have cared but just saying it is bad is annoying.

ok sorry, ill rephrase it, the pink and purple in liberty one look way washed out, almost non existent, in a photo i took of them earlier this week you can see how vibrant the color is on those 2 buildingshttp://farm4.static.flickr.com/3175/2956636912_8d9365bea7_o.jpg

, it looks as tho you desaturated those colors out in your post editing, the composition is great and both pics look good, it was just those minor details that were bugging me, sorry if i came off dickheadish, was not what i was trying to do, i think a photo taken by a person is that persons art therefore should suite them the way they would like it, sorry again

See to me that looks over saturated.

i did over saturate it, but it was a 2 min exposure.

this one is untouched, just stitched together

did you use a filter to get the star effects on the lights?

S4toSTI
10-29-2008, 12:59 PM
Nope just a long exposure.

kr!st!
10-29-2008, 01:18 PM
how long of an exposure?

my camera never gets the star effect with lights for some reason.

Has nothing to do with exposure

It's diffraction in the lens due to a small aperture opening
