'06 WRX/STI trunk shape.

Now seeing that I'm going to be in the market for a WRX or STi come the spring, I was doing some browsing the other day, and to me it looks like the new model Impreza's have a contour, you could even call it a dip, on each side of the trunk. The thing I'm wondering is if the dimensions are the same as the last style. Could you swap an '06 WRX/STi trunk with an '05 and under trunk? What about the hoods? Just curious.

so do the 03'04'05's. On the egdes where the lid meets the body there is a slight umm hump if you call it.

trunk looks the same (could definitely be wrong) but there's now way you're swapping hoods. they are very different.

Um proly a stupid ? Are 2004 WRX Trunks (with wing) swappable with a 2002 WRX?

all the trunks are the same, I just swappend and reswapped an 02s trunk with my 05 that has an 06 sti trunk, just remember to swap tension bars.
