Hey i was wondering if anyone knew how to use python i have a computer science class and didnt realize i have an assignment due weds....I never did this type of command prompt stuff with computers before and would appreciate anyhelp on how to do stuff listed in my assigment...

i try to download the program but when i click the python.exe it opens up a command prompt, do i do my work in there?

i figure the best way to write with a python is to stick your arm down its throat and use you hand in there to curve the body around a pencil...

I've used python to do a "hello world" app.. but didn't go any further. I don't have time to learn all these damn languages. I'll get there though... just not today

Thanks a lot man, My teacher is Indian and dont understand a word he says during lecture....
After i write the program in the IDLE Enivorement like a Notepad enviroment, how to i run the program to see what it does?

read through the lessons in the second link. they're short and they tell you how
