Sarge, this one is more geared for you.
I got a careless driving ticket (thanks to being polite to the officer that pulled me over, which I appreciate) and thought about going to court for it rather than just paying it. Basically it was for 80 in a 65 trying to make it to school in time. Now I used my two unsafe operations of a motor vehicle when I was 17-18, and I am now 22. Would I have any chance with talking to the prosecutor to get the points dropped and just paying a bigger fine, or is that not even possible? I'd basically do anything, I just don't want the points.
It will be Hamilton courts although it was a state trooper that pulled me over. He said I was very courteous and I am positive he'd be willing to work with me as he already did.
Any thoughts?
