I am asking this so that i am aware of possible consequences. Ive heard various things from alot from people, but id like to hear from an actual officer.
what is the basic rule for speeding penalties for a speed range:

100+ (on the highway)
80 in a 65
at what point is there more than just money and points at stake for a ticket?
can you get a ticket for accelerating if you dont go over the limit.
and what exactly happens if you get a "racing ticket"?

This is just for me to be aware of the laws and penalties.
thnx

Anytime you drive over 35 mph or more over the post speed limit you are driving reckless you will lose your DL. the other questions really depend on location conditions and the driver history of the offender the fines are set by the judge and can be as high as $1500 or 6-18 months in jail
