ok i bought a setup off someone else, i got there ecu... i swapped it out with mine(stock) he has all his turbo calibrations on there. we have same exact car, same everything(turbo injecters all that... ) well would it hurt just to plug and play? or do i have to do a CASE scan and all that good stuff??

i would say plug it in. key it on make sure evrything seems to working (fuel pump prime all lights illuminate) if everything seems normal start it up let it idle to N.O.T. and if everything still seems ok no unusual noises smell or SMOKE then take her for a test drive!

Plug it in, start it up, and drive it around. If I remember correctly you said you had a wideband in the car correct?
The car should at least be close enough that you won't risk hurting it if you drive it around. Just make sure that your AFRs are on point. I'd also want to see the mapping for piece of mind, but that's up to you.
If you don't like how it feels, it goes lean/rich a lot, whatever, have it remapped for your car. Although everything is the same, there may still be significant differences in the tune needed, but you won't know till you drive the car.

Fix your **** before you mess with tunes and blow it up.
Turbo + no money = no car.

you dont need a wideband to know if the car is running extremely rich or lean. lean, detonation and noise occurs, where as rich equals lots of black smoke and maybe missing drive it around see how it feels for like 15 20 min if everything is good get that wideband fixed.

i look at this way, you might have gotten the set up from from the guy and hes running the same thing you are, but remember no 2 cars are the same. but i would definelty ask him about it.

I got it started... but the oil feed connector that connects to turbo was cracked(didnt see it) and sprayed oil everywhere when i started my car... so i gotta get a new connector..
