View Full Version : TriStateTuners night @ ATCO, who wan'ts some?
This didn't get any further than an idea... but I was thinking of getting as many people on board as possible to chip in and rent Atco for a night. I don't know how much it'd end up costing, but it'll be really cool to give this a shot. I think it'd be feasible just for the fact of how many members we have already and in such a tight location.
i'll read up on the prices tomorrow... in the meantime reply to this if you're intersted. Maybe we can shoot for a day in May.

sounds expensive, but let us know. if it is too expensive we can just set up a night to all go there together.

Not to be a buzzkill but if you try and do that I think it would be just like if you were holding an event. Which means you would have to get Insurance. Which is not cheap. plus the cost of the track which is prolly a pretty penny. I know to hold the englishtown events its like 2Gs for insurance. I think it would be best if we just decided to all go down there one night. But again I'm not 100%. Charles could prolly fill in better on this one.

Heres the details on a track rental from ATCO.
you get the track from 9:00a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
$1500 for 10 cars, and $2000 for 15 cars. thats it in a nutshell. you cant rent the track at night. and 15 car maximum is what it is. it used to be different years ago. I remember when we would go back in 98 or so, we would have 40 cars show up. Now its all about insurance, fire crews, ambulance crews. and its even worse if it rains, cause then you have to pay for the track to be dried(if it stops raining), otherwise, you are charged for half day rental fee.
I know this from personal experience from when I put together a track rental last year. And im involved in another track rental april 1st, and the rules are still the same.
wow, thanks man... i'll bring this up tonite with everyone

re-read my post. I held a meet last year, and I have another meet coming up april 29th. Those are the prices, and those are the limits. It sucks, i know. I totally agree. However, someone should look into renting out Cecil, or E-town. I heard e-town doesnt do track rentals though. Only reason I rented ATCO is because ATCO is know to be a slightly faster track.
