For those of you who remember me I had the 2002 Mazda Protege that was pretty much for show and that was about it. Well I'm in the process of parting that out and getting rid of it. I have now gotten a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST that has already had a lot done to it.

I plan on changing up a few things on it including the paint and interior in the very near future. Here are some pics and below that is the mod list of it.

JasonKilpa

it actually looks good, but the interior doesn't do it for me.

I love the rear of the car def keep everything back there. what is that big hole in the dash? Where the NAV used to be?

Hm. Looks alright to me. I'm just happy it didn't have a Blitz Front because those are so overplayed. Just curious if you don't mind me asking how much the car cost.

not a fan of the kit or paint... nothing beats 2gb bumpers all around, but to each his own

the motor looks proper, nice supporting mods

id invest in something better than a pocket logger while your at it though

I saw this car on DSMTUNERS, nice car, ditch the z3 fenders, and paint.

can you please put a stock front on there. **** would be hot fire with a stock front. i dont really mind the rear. i dont like the wheels either but at least its got some balls under the hood.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I am going to be changing the paint scheme really soon. As far as the front goes I'm not sure. I kinda like how the front end is at the time. The fenders I could take it or leave it but it kinda fits the whole carbon fiber theme that is going on. With the front bumper, hood, fenders, and rear hatch all in carbon fiber it all just seems to tie together. And for those liking the rear I am going to leave that for sure. And yeah I am going to have invest is something more than a pocketlogger for sure. This is my first venture into the turbo engine world so I have a lot of research to do in that area.

Again thanks everyone.

After a second look I kinda like it. The back is cool. Decent wheel fitment and I love the personal wheel. 4g is always a good thing too.

Why puke? Its not bad. I mean the paint is a little iffy but whatever. At least it can back up the gawdyness with hp.

The whole front is CF dude.

I'll say this, I really like the CF front. Now try to find CF door panels, quarter panels and a hatch.

Whats the point of a removable wheel?

Vinny
10-18-2008, 01:58 AM
it looks great...I'm not a huge fan of the 2tone with the red...maybe if it was a lighter grey/silver...the red just kills it, imo.
but it's pretty sleek lookin and executed nice and clean. *thumbs up*

Again thanks everyone for the comments. The guy who sold it to me had the car for a long time and wanted to move onto a new project so he got a BMW to play with. I got the car for 6k which with everything done to it I thought was a pretty good price.

As far as my plans right now, I plan on changing the paint color of the car. I am putting my Recaro seats in, taking out the shift light, changing out the LED bulbs in dash, and installing my Pioneer Avic-D3. I am also going to take it to a shop to get the engine properly tuned cause that is something it has never had. It also needs a new power steering pump and O2 sensor right now too.

Those are the short term plans as of right now. I'm torn on the rims right now cause I think they look good the way they are now however when I do put the new paint on that might change too.

Thanks again everyone

where is the 6pt roll cage you have on your mods list

TalonTsi97
10-18-2008, 11:26 AM
Buy 97turbodsm's dsmlink setup and take it somewhere to get tuned. You wont regret it.

mrcoder

Tune it and post the numbers. Let's see how much HP per $$ that 6K can get. I bet it's pretty damn nice.

It looks like it's got nuts, but I'm not a fan of the rims, or the front bumper. Not a fan of CF either. But, it's still a nice car.

You may want to invest in two separate overflow/catch can. I see you have oil and coolant going into the same can.

The Tail 38mm Just for looks? Anticipation of something bigger? And the MAF and translator, since your not recirculating why not place it after the BOV so you don't idle like poop and run rich between shifts.

Minus the front end, the huge tach and I like it. Good find.
