Undercover police vehicles

Alright the only reason my friends and I decided to start this thread is mainly because of the police in our area causing troubles for us for no reason at all.

I honestly have nothing against law or the enforcement of it, but when a group of kids that aren't doing anything wrong are getting chased around for things that are completely bogus, it turns into a personal matter.

The crew and i obviously have had bad experiences with law in our past, but all of us are good kids, we don't go around our neighborhood racing, doing burnouts, or causing trouble. We're just a group of kids that want to be able to hang out where we are able to show that we aren't the typical "tuner car" drivers.

So anyway we got together and figured out a way to warn everyone when they are driving around which vehicles to look for that are completely out of the ordinary for a police officer to be driving. Feel free to add to the list its the car make and model and where they've been seen. Or if you know anything about any of the ones listed let me know and i'll add it.

1. Blacked out Ford F150 with a yellow/black CAT (the big machine) license plate - seen mostly driving up and down route 202 and route 30 mostly between King of Prussia and Coatesville.

2. Yellow Acura Integra TypeR just a typical stock type r all badges still on it and everything - seen mostly driving around Exton area egging on (mostly uti kids) to race.

3. Blacked our Dodge Charger (more and more everyday)

4. Dodge Intrepids

5. Dodge Magnums

6. The obvious Crown Vics.

7. Ford Taurus

8. Black Dodge Durango

9. White Dodge Durango

10. Ford Explorer

11. Chevy Silverado

12. Ford Expedition

13. White Dodge Ram 1500 - seen mostly between West Chester and Thorndale.

14. Harley Davidson Motorcycle - seen in Parkesburg.


Like I said anymore just let me know, we'll keep it going.

I could be wrong, but in the case of the Yellow Type-R, if the officer provokes you to race or something of that sort, I believe that is entrapment. Like I said, I could be wrong, but I thought I remembered hearing that. But yeah, I was having some trouble with the police in my town. I'm usually really good at talking my way out of tickets, except they found a solution - a female cop would pull me over all the time - no talking my way outta that one, ha. There was also a blacked out Dodge Durango that would follow me in my town, that finally stopped once i talked to one of the cops i knew from back in high school.

thats definetly entrapment, but honestly half the kids at UTI are morons and deserve all the tickets they get, seems like everyday there will be guys coming in late becuase they decided to haul ass down 100 and get caught

They are not requiring you, or even pressuring you to race. they are just opening the opportunity(which could possibly be considered entrapment) but i still think thats not entrapment. hopefully someone with more legal education will chime in. Also, if they are bothering you, you're probably breaking the law or being shady.

we weren't doing anything illegal but if anyone knows the cops in this area in particular, they have nothing better to do but harass kids with cars. my car is completely stock and my exhaust isn't that loud and i get pulled over for the dumbest stuff for no reason.

there is only ONE YELLOW TYPE R in exton. and the rest of the cars are completely blacked out with tint at like 4% they are VERY easy to spot.

what happened last night with all my friends being pulled over was complete and total bs. this is what we're doing to take our stand.

how would you like it if you sat there and watched your car get towed because the cop told you that your insurance was out of date when it wasn't and didn't even give you the time of day/time to say anything about it to prove that it was up to date.. or if you were told you did a burn out but nobody saw it and you slammed on your brakes to not hit a deer.

so again its just to let people in MY area know, because most don't...and 90% of everyone on this site has a loud car and or speeds.

yeah thats why i didnt highlight the type r.....did you ever stop to think that the other cars that are "blacked" out are just state registered vehicles and NOT police?...heres a thought, they might just be people who live in the area with a blacked out car?...i didnt think it was to uncommon to see one.

police don't roll around in 30 different kinds of undercover cars just to catch you and your friends "not speeding or doing anything wrong"

false, about dateline anyway... those people do get charged... not for sleeping with a minor, but the attempt... etc... usually no jail time, minor probation.

i dont care who the **** tries to pull me over cause unless they are in a standard police uniform, standard police car or undercover with lots of lights if not and have municipal plates, then im not pulling over. if they are real cops they will call for back up which is a real cop car or clear undercover then i will.

someone tried that **** with strobes and a loud speaker on thier stock crown vic at night, and didnt have a uniform on. i kept goin the speed limit then pulled into a gas station and they never followed me in, **** that. if i wasnt on empty i woulda followed their ass and got them for impersenating an officer.

is your car modded? because tech that's putting stupid **** on your car, if you have a modified car. even a stock SRT4 just because its turbo around here you'll get pulled over, just because its noisy or just because its clean, or just because you have a wing. it doesn't matter around here cops just don't have anything to do. i live in the middle of the woods there are 2 other houses on my property. cops have been down here at least 5 times within the past 2 months...for no reason. there are 4 cops in my township...all four of them were here everytime (not for my house for my bs drunk neighbors) so obviously all they have to do is pull over the kids from coatesville that drive around without a hood on their car.

the stupidest things in the world i've gotten pulled over for just being around here. Bring me to Chester, PA and I wouldn't get pulled over once. They care more about stuff that matters then silly kids in nice cars.

They sit on the turnpike off ramp on south side of rt100 and time you between the two black lines painted on the concrete barrier. Painted lines go up and down the side of the barrier between the two sides of the road.
They also park on the northside by the U-turn entrence to the Industrial park.
They also sit in the first parking lot of the business on Pennsylvania Ave.
And on old township line rd on the other side of the road.

I know many of the kids driving out of UTI floor it to the stoplight at rt100.
People have moved from that area cause of the way the kids where driving on just that part of the road. Also there have been many accidents involving students from that school. Some kids got killed a few years ago.

You just need to drive the speed limit and not rev or race in that part of Uwchlan and upper Uwchlan township. Cause they won't give you a break.

This response is great. As if the cops won't lie in court. I have a spotless driving record and a non existent criminal records yet I am constantly hassled by Birmingham Township cops. I've been pulled over and told my licence plate lights are too bright. I've been told that my exhaust is too loud. When I asked "how is it to loud" the cops response was "it just is". They sit in a gas station on 202 right outside of my work and routinely follow me for a few miles. And on a few occasion have even followed me home. I've had the Sargent tell me to "stay out of his township". These incidents typically don't result in tickets as I'm doing nothing illegal.

No its not Entrapment in the way its done.. Basically Entrapment entails FORCING you to do something illegal.. THATS entrapment.. grab a damned law book if you dont believe me. Openly asking for a race is NOT entrapment, and if your stupid enough to bite, then oudeserve every ticket, jail time and or impoundment you get for every time you havent learned your lesson. YEah I was a class mate with one of those.. hence why the cops up there dont give breaks.. and ALL the cops in the area really aren't tryin to be a d*ck.. they are concerned for your safety.. THEY ARE PARENTS TOO AND DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO TELL YOUR PARENTS YOUR ARE DEAD!! GET IT?!?!?! you may not be doing anything stupid, but someone on hat road is and its gonna get someone else killed.. next time you get pulled over , dont give any attitude, do as said, and the impounding thing for an out of date insurance card.. they really have no way of knowing if it was recently out of date.. it is an impoundable offense and you should carry your CURRENT info on you for this reason.. what would you do say you got hit, or hit someone?? no no, the officer cannot extend an invite to commit a crime in any way. if they do so it could be considered entrapment.

Obviously if a "street racer" is going around peeling out all over the place and goading on other cars to race, and the officer comes over and starts revving his engine then there is obvious intent by the "street racer" to race, so it would not be entrapment.

But if I'm driving to the grocery store and an officer comes over and starts revving his engine at me and trying to get me to race... and I, for some stupid reason, decide to peel out at the light I would have a case against entrapment. More than likely I would lose... but it is still possible entrapment.

we live in a litigation happy country so if something sounds odd you can bet their will be a lawsuit, jeez ive heard of people trying to file civil suits over getting bad tattoos!

Most of the people who get pulled over deserve what they get, but i think its pretty american to try and get away with it.


Now i know what the law says abotu entrapment but honestly if some cop roles up to me in an ITR(not ive never seen this car or ever heard of something like this happening) and revs his engine makes the motions like he wants to race and you oblige, im sorry but thats entrapment and the cop deserves the same punishment you get for racing. Same thing with prostitution, a hot female officer posed as a hooker walking the street with a skimpy outfit making motions to try and get you to pick her up... yeah i think thats entrapment regardless of what the law says thats just what i beleive, ive always had a problem with that when you see those hooker stings on cops, and honestly i dont know what it solves anyway.

But then again all of the cops ive met around here are WAY to dignified to be driving around egging you on to race them, and yeah a cop may own an ITR as his PERSONAL car and honestly when their off duty there civilians like the rest of us, but that doesnt mean they wont call you in for being a moron, but anyone can call you in for being a moron.

This response is great. As if the cops won't lie in court. I have a spotless driving record and a non existent criminal records yet I am constantly hassled by Birmingham Township cops. I've been pulled over and told my licence plate lights are too bright. I've been told that my exhaust is too loud. When I asked "how is it to loud" the cops response was "it just is". They sit in a gas station on 202 right outside of my work and routinely follow me for a few miles. And on a few occasion have even followed me home. I've had the Sargent tell me to "stay out of his township". These incidents typically don't result in tickets as I'm doing nothing illegal.

no no, the officer cannot extend an invite to commit a crime in any way. if they do so it could be considered entrapment.

Obviously if a "street racer" is going around peeling out all over the place and goading on other cars to race, and the officer comes over and starts revving his engine then there is obvious intent by the "street racer" to race, so it would not be entrapment.

But if I'm driving to the grocery store and an officer comes over and starts revving his engine at me and trying to get me to race... and I, for some stupid reason, decide to peel out at the light I would have a case against entrapment. More than likely I would lose... but it is still possible entrapment.

Most of the people who get pulled over deserve what they get, but i think its pretty american to try and get away with it.


Now i know what the law says abotu entrapment but honestly if some cop roles up to me in an ITR(not ive never seen this car or ever heard of something like this happening) and revs his engine makes the motions like he wants to race and you oblige, im sorry but thats entrapment and the cop deserves the same punishment you get for racing. Same thing with prostitution, a hot female officer posed as a hooker walking the street with a skimpy outfit making motions to try and get you to pick her up... yeah i think thats entrapment regardless of what the law says thats just what i beleive, ive always had a problem with that when you see those hooker stings on cops, and honestly i dont know what it solves anyway.

But then again all of the cops ive met around here are WAY to dignified to be driving around egging you on to race them, and yeah a cop may own an ITR as his PERSONAL car and honestly when their off duty there civilians like the rest of us, but that doesnt mean they wont call you in for being a moron, but anyone can call you in for being a moron.

Take it from a former student, your scrutinized over every little thing.. the police there are sick of having to call parents to tell them thier son or daughter is dead.. and they really dont know who is doing what, that school is fairly big so they keep tabs when they can.. jsut dont over accellerate, and use your turn signals and dont drive like an over-all ass-hat and you will be jsut fine.. if you have EVER given them a reason before ( and i'm willing to bet you haveweather or not you realized you were doing it) then they watch you more and constantly annoy you till you mess up again. its a tactic that is needed to combat kids killing themselves and potentially others.. just take it easy keep eye of your surroundings ( since people are morons) and you should be fine.

the entrapment thing is true, if he's off duty and still tries pulling you over it can go on him. if he tries to race you, its on you, but yes it is still entrapment stupid either way. just don't speed, don't do burnouts. basically don't do **** if you know that you can get caught. do it on backroads (haha just kidding)
