LOL @ the wood screws and 'snapped-in-half' paint stirrer as a shim. Classic. BTW, who the **** makes death threats to someone who did a bad job to someones car. What are they 12? Handle it in court.

Seems low, but the owner was was supposed to be a friend of theirs.

Also, I have had a couple of friends get good deals on body work as well. Roommates GTI got a new bumper, sprayed, and installed for around $800 as well, and it was all quality work.

You pay for what you get.

^^the work done was not worth $2 dollars though. I could understand you get what you pay for if it was just a little bit of chipping in the long run and a few sanding scratches or something. But to royally **** his stock bumpers/doorsills with woods screws and such is just dick. i wouldnt let someone do that to my car if they gave me 750.

Oh believe me I'd take them to the bank for that. That's like humiliating. He shouldn't of been so cheap and just bout a body kit instead of a dumb lip kit. They get double sided taped on or epoxied on as far as I know.

$800 seems about right for that... but i'm not in the auto business.

$750 is super low for a complete lip kit install and paint/clear coat.
