if your anywhere near delco theres a place on baltimore pike call cycle gear. They are the walk-in store part of a internet company. They have alot of products and can order pretty much anything for you. Plus about them is you can try it out make sure it fits right.

haha glad you went out there and they were helpful. Another good thing is that once you buy a helmet there you have 7 days to get used to it and if you dont like it you can retune it. Unlike most stores when you buy it find out the helmet is so retarded with areodynamics and just horrible to ride with but you cant return it.

Even though thoes helmets are expensive they are great quality and really will make up the price when you comfortable riding.

if you are going to buy gear esp if it is your first time for things its is best to go to a store that atleast has the brand of helmet or jacket and try it on first cuz some def range in size. For helmets i range from SM to MED depending on the brand, it is def stuff you want to fit comfortably

Don't get an Arai or Shoei.... pretty pricey stuff. I have bought Scorpion a few times over and they work well (and crash well, thank you).. an EXO700 will run you less than $200 on closeout.

I shop at www.sportbiketrackgear.com and www.newenough.com there are a few more places that are VERY cheap for closeouts during the winter. CycleGear had nothing that I was interested in and was very expensive... and they are only 5 minutes from my house.

Also, you'll want more than just a jacket and helmet. You want pants and boots too. You might not want to spring for what I ride in (below), but at the very least you do need some kind of textile pant and tall boot. It REALLY hurts to go down without them, ask me how I know and why I don't ride without full gear anymore.

Also if you buy nice street gear it can double as track gear :D

Well that's fine, but you'll still want some type of pant and tall boot. Having a 400lb bike land on your ankle without protection REALLY hurts.
