Since we're talking bugs....

These little bastid's have been seen around the area too. They originate in South America / Japan. I killed one yesterday. Unlike the stink bugs, these things can infect you with a bad disease.

"This parasitic infection usually is transmitted through the bite of the kissing bug (also known as the reduviid bug and the triatomine bug). The insect lives in cracks and holes in poor housing, where it bites people, often on the face, while they sleep. Occasionally, Chagas' is transmitted through blood transfusions, organ transplants and from mother to child at birth."

I live in PA but have a shore house in Jersey.

"In areas where Chagas disease occurs (from the United States to southern Argentina), all triatomine species are potential vectors of the Chagas disease parasite Trypanosoma cruzi, but only those species (such as Triatoma infestans and Rhodnius prolixus) that are well adapted to live with humans are considered important vectors."

They're in the US.

Apparently. I've never seen one of these bugs, but from time to time I do see stink bugs. Just no where near as often as anyone else.

Glad I hav'nt seen one of these yet, Im still at war with these damn stink bugs! The stinkers are EVERYWHERE I look around here, In my house, In my shop, my work, I cant even work on my car for 20 min without a bunch flying directly into me. No other bug freaks me out like stink bugs.
