Those are some great pics you guys. I do love how much more aggressive the talon looks though, especially with no spoiler. Both are sweet rides, however. :D

I've got the best of both worlds i think. The 97 front bumber on a 96' and the mini spoiler. Were as the 97' has the big spoiler. Not a big fan of it.

It is funny, your car looks just like mine, 'cept mine is red w/the afore-mentioned spoiler. Cool pics :thumbup:

Can't wait for summer. I'll race ya'll for beach tags. Anyway, nice cars! But they'd look better in my rearview ;)

I heard STi trannys aren't either. Oh wait.. I worked for Subaru so I know that's true :P

ahem. then you should know the difference between an STi and a WRX, tool. the WRX tranny is the one that is poo. The STi, while not the strongest, is not made of glass like the WRX.

mann i always wanted a 2nd gen eclipse when i first got into cars, everyone called me a girl for it! :lol:

oh well, nice cars im not huge into talons but i wouldnt see much of it when it blasted by me

and sti trannys are good and strong not sure what many peopel here are talking about

oh and i work for a subaru dealer to so i know as well ;)

I've heard people talk about STi's having tranny problems... but never seen it firsthand. Who wants to speculate it is due to ****ty driving?

Two of my favorite cars. I love white 2g eclipses and gtsiawd96 car is one of my favorites around. I havent seen 97tsi's car yet but i have a picture in my head.
gtsiawd96 car is one of my favorites around with the carbon hood and front mount, but i like my Talon wing better then the little one.
97tsi's car probably looks great cause red and black go great together and with a carbon hood and front mount to it probably flows great. Plus hes FWD like me. Throw up some pics when you get a chance
Hope to see all you guys around in the summer at some dsm meets

Thanks for the kind words :inlove: :mrgreen: I'll try to post some pics, but she doesn't look too good w/my busted up front bumper right now. I was waiting for winter to end to put the new one on, but I'm getting anxious.

I would definitely speculate that crappy STi trannies are a result of dumbasses dumping the clutch at 5-6k every chance they get. I know a guy like that. I'll probly race him some time soon.
