A group buy on the XD-1 would be awesome! I would definately be interested. For those of you who are not familiar with the XD-1 here are some specs:
The Innovate XD-1 dash-mountable Digital Display is shipping! The entire gauge is a mere .750” thick, so it's possible to mount even in surface mount configurations. The display features a 3-character LED display, "Record" button, and a programmable (values and colors) digital needle. The body is a billet aluminum bezel.

The XD-1 can be customized via a web-based print tool. You can choose any unit of measurement, various fonts, upload an logo (or other graphic), and then print the high-resolution scaled image directly onto transparency paper. Use you included blank white gauge face, overlay the clear cut out, and you've got a custom gauge face!

Sandra, The XD-1 is only an add on gauge. You can use it with the LC-1 or the LM-1. Using it with the LC-1 is a very popular and affordable option.

The Innovate “Standalone Gauge Kit” comes complete with the NEW! LC-1 Wideband Controller, NEW! XD-1 Programmable Digital Gauge, Bosch 5-wire Wideband 02 Sensor, Bung/Plug Kit, Software CD, and owners manual.

The Innovate XD-1 dash-mountable Digital Gauge features programmable LED colors and remote control button to start and stop LM-1 log sessions or initiate calibration. The entire gauge is a mere .750" thick, so it's possible to mount even in surface mount configurations. The display features a 3 character central LED display, remote control button, and a programmable digital needle. The body is a billet aluminum bezel.

i would've thought that innovative would be able to discount better for a group purchase (thus enabling you to discount deeper as well)

just a thought

That's why I asked if we got like 10 people (which is more of a group buy) if it would be any cheaper.

count me in for 10+ (hopefully below $300) pricing...

what are you losing when going with the xd-1/lc-1 package over the lm-1?

I don't think you lose anything...I was reading up on it and you are gaining the gauge and also logging capabilities. It's a step up from what I am reading. If I am wrong Keith can correct me since he works with the product.

Ooo, judging by the connector, it looks like they use the Bosch 7057 sensor.

That's an extremely good sensor and extremely cheap. Much cheaper than the 6066.

Guys, this is a good deal. Yall should be jumping on this if you don't have a WBO2 yet.

DOOOOO IT Pete, I just answered your question in the other thread about the logging features. I am kinda pissed I didn't research this sooner.

Eff you and your fancy German engineering! j/k I <3 you

Either way you really can't beat this bundle. It's the wideband + logging software with graphs and you can save/export the data. The current logging setup I run now was $100 by itself and it's not as good as this software looks. I can't wait to compare and most likely sell my logger setup I have now.

I wonder if this kit also needs an interface or how it extracts the data without plugging into the diagnostic port?

teh DIRT
11-03-2005, 11:58 AM
im sure KG can clear all of this up when he sees this.

KrautFed20V

yes, i can log and see A/F using a VAG-COM cable, with the cable i can also change my timing, fuel, and boost parameters, and this is all on a OEM ECU

SexyDSM95
11-03-2005, 12:02 PM
Well I am sitting here reading the manual and they are reffering to this sensor/plug that initially reads the data as the "log chain".

And I agree I am sure KG will clear it up on if it plugs in the diagnostic port or maybe just a relay of sensors.

more people need to get on this - WTF!?

if we don't get enough people - i think i might got with the lm-1 instead since i already have a defi a/f guage.

Sorry dude I am sticking with the stand alone kit. The logging software looks sick! I paid $100 alone for something that does basic features and the logging kinda sucks.

11-04-2005, 01:16 AM
well, ya know what? i'm gonna forgot both of them and just get this - http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/xcart/customer/product.php?productid=16184&cat=256&page=1  jk

the software was originally created for the lm-1 - the only differences between the two is one's portable and has more accessories (auxbox, rpm converter, etc.)...

i wonder if KG could make this for any innovate wb02 product...
