For those who actively track their cars, what brake setups have you run and what has worked/failed for you.

Please include pads/rotors/lines/fluid and TIRES!

I'll start off with our track car, the WRX

Pads: Hawk HT-10 / Hawk Blue
Rotors: Blanks (with 300zx calipers)
Lines: Stainless Steel
Fluid: Brembo LCF 600 / Motul RBF 600 / ATE Superblue
Tires: Potenza RE070

More info to come!

Brembo Gt front big brake kit:
4 piston calipers
13 inch 2 piece drilled rotors
goodridge stainless steel lines
Brembo competition pads

Rear kit
Racing brake 2 piece slotted rotors
ENDLESS pads (SS Y i thionk was the name of them, dont quote me)

ATE dot 4 Racing fluid
Nitto NT01 R comps 245 40 18 on all 4

what HAS failed....those rear pads i had, the endless ss y or whatev, they r mainly aggressive street and i put them on the rear thinking braking force wouldnt be too high on the rear, turned out i was wrong.......falken azenis Rt 615 255/40 18 on all four....very bad tires for track duty...best suited for autox and idiotic street driving.....switched to nitto r comps for event at lime rock and havent looked back since....buttonwillow and laguna seca are next..drove rt 615 at pocono and literally almost died at 140mph. tires went to pure goo....literally goo...after a run or two

those pads are worn out now and in the trash, i have ENDLESS CC-R pads for all 4 corners now, i dont use them for the street bc thats retarded. street is hawk hps front and mazdaspeed 6 pads for rear

For my Supra:

Pads: Carbotech XP10 front & back
Rotors: stock
Lines: Stainless Steel
Fluid: Motul RBF 600
Tires: Toyo RA-1's - on my stock 17" wheels, 255F & 275R

The RA-1's are used up now so I'm gonna try Toyo R888's next.

S14 240sx No ABS Stainless Lines

Front:
350z Brembo 4 piston
Stoptech two piece rotors
Hawk HP+

Rear:
300zx 2 piston
Powerslot rotors
Hawk HP+

255/45/17 Nitto NT01

Castrol LMA

Never over heats, fades, etc. Locks like a mofo if I get brake happy though. Great bite on the Hawk HP+. Enough brake power for a 2700lb/350hp car.

my understanding is that the HT series tends to eat rotors.

i cant give alot of feedback on my set up because it sees more street than anything else.

None of the Hawk race pads tend to eat rotors.

The only exception is the Hawk BLUE, which will eat the rotor only when cold (don't use it on the street!)
