Okay we put a AEM intake on my boys car...its cold air....Hooked everything up....Starts.....IDLES ROUGH like choppy....checked the sensor...everythings tight.....
Runs REALLY rich....and has a nice smell....every now and then idle drops to about 500-600 rpms....and raises back to normal


Any ideas?!

uhh..What else is done to the engine, anyhthing?

Did you check to make sure any and all lines are hooked back up or anything that has to be nippled off is?

1. lancers run rich
2. you might wanna check wherre the intake mounts to the throttle body make sure there nothing touching the butterfly.

I don't know much about lancers, but I've heard of people having similar problems in WRXs becuase the mounted to MAF backwards. I don't know if its possible to do that on your car, but you might want to check the MAF anyway.

YOUR GOOD CAUSE WE FIXED IT LAST NIGHT AND THATS WHAT IT WAS LMAO!!! BUT IT RUNS 10000000X'S BETTER AND STRONGER..
