my car does run, actually pretty good since i got rid of the MSD dis4. i just think its time to call it quits, the engine smokes pretty badly now cause my valvestem seals are gone, i still have perfect compression tho, but at 195,000 miles i think its time to take care of this car and make it nice! hopefully when i get sometime and more money next summer i can completly tear everything apart and fix everything that ive wanted to fix, been thinking about upgrading to twinpte50trims and bolting them up to the adapter plates but im still not 100% sure if i will definitely do that, but well see

Yeah man. Putting in new VSS is cake with the heads off the car. My shortblock is only 6k old but my heads have 160k on them .. when it was a apart I did the VSS and am glad I did. No more smoke.
Did you hear that Chris (IPO) made 707awhp with E85 and twin 50 trims on stock heads and cams? Insanity!
nice numbers! sick 60'
Thanks man. I was happy, I managed to pull mid 1.6x 60's all day ... testament to RPS. My clutch is almost 40k miles old.

Didn't he just pull a 745awhp? BTW, I gotta get me a 13T so I can finally finish my turbo swap. Did you convert your 13Ts yourself? How much was if you don't mind me asking?

Yeah, he did. It's insane.
No I had Rob Beck do them ... he does it for $630 I think. I picked mine up for cheap, like $150 for both, so total cost $780 .... not bad.

I didn't ... I don't see why you would need to unless you bent a valve at some point or another.
You might want to get them decked though ... I didn't and I wish I had.

how is your car doing?
lawdogg
09-24-2008, 02:15 PM
Yeah my best time with stock turbos was 12.7 @ 109. Couldn't quite lock down the 60' my best was 1.77. But yeah 15gs / 13ts / DR650s are awesome bolt on turbos that'll get you into the 11's. :)
Tru - you bet. I'll keep my eye out.

Hey lawdogg, if you run into another good 13t deal, help a brother out. lol $780 is a steal.
you can get the 13t setup from robbeck for less than $1k, i believe i paid $850 plus mebbe $40 shipping for mine with my 9b cores sent in when i sent my payment, rob supplied the 13t cores. this does not include my cost of shipping the 9b cores to rob.
