Hey guys and gals,

Just got done ordering 70 watt street glows for the low beams and 100watt street glows for the high beams on my 2005 Legacy 2.5GT. The color temp is 4000k. My question is this. Has anybody done anything similar and had any negative results aside from getting pulled over? I called over to SOA with my questions as well as spoke to a few guys in service. SOA stated that they can only recommend what came stock... :( ; service said that it should handle that no prob... Then again those stock bridgestones recommended by SOA :screwy: ...ehhh but back to the headlights...does anyone know if i'm gonna end up melting anything?

i've heard that if you want to go with 100 watt bulbs you should redo your wiring with larger gauge wire. there may have been talk of a relay in there, but i'm really not sure. unfortunately i'll have to refer you to searching on www.nasioc.com or www.clubwrx.net for the technical info on this. please do post back on here with what you find though.
thanks!
