i just signed up for LA fitness being built in my area. Same price as I'm paying now but LAF has a pool and is tons bigger. How do you guys like the gym? sorry for the hijack...

BIG TIME!

I like all the LA Fitnesses, the staff seem really nice and it's a diverse crowd of people. It's not like all pretty/thin people running around saying how fat they are. The equipment is also pretty updated and nice to use. The people I've run into (using the same machine) are really nice also. They just don't hop on the machine after you get done your set and stretch.

It's cool. I like it. It's the same price as all the gyms in my area but bigger. Theres alot of weirdo's but that happens at every gym. It has a pool, raquetball (or however you spell it) courts, basketball cort, hottub and sauna which is cool if you want to use those.

in that case, my philosophy is...b4 i was married of course, if she catches you looking, wait for a smile...thats "the invitation"...and then ask if you can help her stretch to get a closer look.

Lol yeah that's it. You got me. J/K. I dont hide, i just do my routine, Usually i have a trainer who doesnt give you time to gawk. There are a few though who make more comments than i do, haha.

i like la fitness cuz its cheap (35 bucks a month) but their dumbells stop at 125 which really really sucks :(

LOL. Thats the best! Haha. Im the same, other than my hair being a lil longer and i gained a lil weight. Nothing drastic.

Used to make you are mental and physically able to be in the military. Sandra is looking at the Navy so she practices saying, "Arg" and "Aye, Matie".

Naval Reserves (Weekend Warriors!) woot! I already took the ASVAB and scored high enough for my field. Now I just have to pass damn MEPS and I am done and "officially" in. I love that ab machine they have in the Montgomeryville LA Fitness. The one where you have to use your legs too...my abs still hurt today.

Awesome! Good luck! That machine is great. I do that and crunches with a medicine ball, it's killer!
