What is going on in Middletown/Levittown area? Cops, guns....sirens

My Dad just called me said he's heard sirens for the last hour, saw the cops pull their guns on a guy in the middle of the street and thinks he saw a swat van go by.


Anybody know anything or see anything?

Not long after a Citizens Bank was robbed at Route 413 and New Falls Road in Middletown, Bucks County’s emergeny response team and police from departments throughout the area surrounded building 4 of the nearby Foxwood Manor apartment complex.

Police said the two incidents aren’t connected. They arrived at the apartment complex about 12:30 p.m. today in reponse to a report that a man with a gun had barricaded himself inside an apartment and threatened suicide. After about an hour and a half, though, police determined that the man wasn’t at home. He was safe and sound at work, they said.

I guess that would explain why I saw 2 cops, 2 unmarked murderd out SUV's, and what appeard to be a bomb squad truck hauling arse on rt1 right by the 213 exit going towards gunardis (sp?)???

I said the same thing after reading those..I think someones PD needs to go BACK to the academy. oh and Best believe that second call.. the guy will have to pay out of pocket for wasting the county EMS resources AND time for nothing.

maybe they chose not to release all the information about there investigation to the press as not to panic or worry any possible suspects of ditching evidence or disappearing making it harder to find them... not all cops are dumb sometimes they just like to play dumb
