I have two cars.. and neither of them are inspection friendly
i know its going to be a huge PITA moving and changing all of my paper work

How much is registration per car?

you need to inspect the cars within 10 days of registering them and you need to inspect them every year, costs anywhere from $35-$70 for an inspection, depends where you go to get them done

You have all pre-OBDII cars as I see it. Just slap a high flow cat and make sure the Check engine light doesn't work and you will be fine. No worries... inspection is a joke anyway.

pre obd2 has nothing to do with the cel, its just a tailpipe sniff test... u can find places to get it "passed"

As for the inspection, to be legit on a car built befor OBD2 (1996), the car needs all of the stock polution devices (egr, evap, cat, ect) to be in place for the visual inspection and pass a siffer test. Like stated above, you can find a place to get passed and get stickers. Once you get them the first time, if you keep the milage of the vehicle below 5K per year and don't let the inspection expire the car is exempt from emissions testing the following year or years, as long as you keep the milage down.

registration is $36/year/car (trucks are more). I would wait until your Jersey registration is close to expiration before switching to PA. You will have to have proof of insurance as well at the time of registration. Then you have 10 days to get your cars inspected. You don't have to prove that you got them inspected, but if you get pulled over with out the stickers, you'll be SOL. inspections/emissions have to be done each year and usually run about $75-80 for both ($25-30 inspection, $50 emissions).
