So yesterday I got a tint warning and they want me to remove my tint. I tried telling him it was 35% which is legal in MD where its registered, but he got out a light meter and it read 26%. Whatever, I'm living here now and if I'm gonna get hassled it has to go.
Where is a good place in York to get tint removed? Will they give me a receipt and is that good enough to turn in for the ticket, or do I need to get it inspected somewhere? I only have 5 days to turn it in, so I'd like to get it done ASAP.
I'd do it myself, but it sounds like a pain to get them clean and I still need proof, so I'm hoping to get this all done at one time.
Also, my decals are coming off to try to tone it down a notch, maybe the hood too but we'll see. It sucks cause I really like the tint, it keeps it from getting so hot (all back interior) and keeps SUV's from blinding me. But like I said my number one priority is not getting pulled over. Thanks.
