My avatar is hideously misized (sp?) any tips on how to get it looking normal within the sites restrictions. I played with the picture in MS paint and got it looking ok.

That's why I haven't changed mine in a while, I see more red x's than avatars these days. Ask MuddyChris how he did his....

I think it has something to do with teh temp server... Troll's looking into it. Still not sure why Muddy had success and others (including me) haven't. Kookie.

It does have to do with the temp server. THe site is still configures to use www.tristatetuners.com for avatars. New avatars are uploaded to the temp address. Site looks for em on tristatetuners.com, and they aren't there. That's why old ones work, and new ones do not. Anyway, if you guys want em hosted, just email them to chris@akarally.com. I will put them up, and you can then use the offsite avatar option.

yeah i'm really not sure. only thing i could suggest is to try uploading them again now since the site is finally where its going to stay. if that doesnt work i'll just have to look into it further.

I hosted mine w/photobucket.com and that didn't work either. Am I doing something wrong?

I have a new one that Mike took that I want to use anyway. Maybe I'll send that one to ya and see if you have better luck. Thanks!

Oh my gosh! It didn't work at first, now all of a sudden there it is. Wierd! I didn't do anything differently than normal- just uploaded it from my computer.
