sorry i just dont qualify the ass dyno as legit enough to put uber excessive numbers on a for sale ad

I know what you would like to see but it's my add so it's what I would like listed.
How about I explain to you why i didnt list the modifications maybe then you can calm down a bit.

Does that body kit add the extra 150 hp on those inflated numbers?

you live not even 10 minutes from the car come see it for yourself and ask whatever you want.

your mod list doesn't tell us anything...stage 1 turbo?? I don't know what that is. A cryo treated block??? ok Forged pistons...how bout compression ratio, or a brand name?

Your pics aren't worth ****....you have a beat to **** supra with a body kit and a fnf wing. If you really want to sell your car, be descriptive. Pictures speak a 1000 words. receipts? Pictures of the actual car as it sits possibly?

I could post more pictures when I get home. I have made a personal choice as far as its listed and would rather leave it as is.
If actual buyers want the car i'm ready to give them diections and whatever else they may need apun interest.
untill then it's just people making comments because they can.
I thank you for your suggestions.

Your "personal choice" to not lists the actual mods and not a full description, is that to benefit the ad by making it super shady?

MisfitKim
09-02-2008, 04:36 PM
No but you can say what you want thats the beauty of the fourm.

Most of the guys posting on this thread just want to talk smack they don't want the car so therefore I don't have to go out of my way. I'm here only to answer questions to serious buyers.

I can almost guarantee that if you can show mods to back the hp #'s, you'd get a lot more interest.

thats the problem...you aren't gonna get a serious buyer unless you are a serious seller. If you really want to get rid of the car, then you should be more than willing to post current descriptive pictures of the car/motor/interior, along with a descriptive mod list

MisfitKim

thank you kindly but the gentlemen" who helped me do the work to the car has asked that I only give modifications out to buyers.
The car as listed is what it says its just a short description.

wow...umm thats a first. If you listen to that guy, you are setting yourself up to never get rid of this car. It will be impossible for you to get any interest in the car if you don't list a detailed mod list. Why should someone go out of their way to find out what has been done to the car? If you list it from the beginning then a person will get a general idea of what they are getting themselves into before they come to look at the car.

That would be like me posting my car up for sale with the pictures i took from when it was stock and saying 1997 eclipse gst, upgraded turbo, intercooler, and some other stuff i had someone throw on there. Do you think i would get any interest with that??? NO! Be descriptive...if you don't, you are just wasting peoples time

It is pretty clear that there is a lot up in the air about this car... it might be a terrible purchase, or not. I would hope that any potential buyers are aware of the warning signs here and that they inspect the vehicle properly to confirm or deny the claims that are made.
Either way, if you are not interested in what is for sale, you have no business posting here. I strongly recommend that the unnecessary commentary stop immediately. Whether it sells or not, and at what price is none of your business unless you are the buyer.

an add is to gain interest. The only place I seem to be having a difficult time with it is here and you shouldnt have to prove anything on paper or fourm.
If someone really wants the Supra they will come and see it or call me for the details email ETC. In the mean time it's just the same guys bored & talking smack beacause they have nothing better to do. accept for the select few like yourself who is making postive sugguestions.
I can and will post more pictures.
