Elite JDM: Clip Importers

Oh the recommendation of a few fellow tst members, I went to check out EliteJDM today.
For anyone who doesn't know, they are a local clip/engine importer located in the north east.
I have nothing but high praises for this shop, its staff and its owner. Right away I was treated like a friend, and given the grand tour. This place is amazing. Sr20 clips, supra clips, honda, etc..etc.. etc.. Almost any motor you can think of, they have a clip in stock. They even had 2 mint Celica 3sgte clips as well as a few Beams black tops (rare).

The shop is very clean, well run, and most of all honest.
I figured I would give them a review since I'm sure there are a lot of local people who do swaps, but dont even realize a place like this exists locally. Its a great option to be able to buy your clip from a local seller and not have to worry about shipping costs or shady internet sellers.

I plan to stop by there shortly to show the shop to a friend of mine. I'll try to bring a camera with me next time.

I picked pretty much all my type R stuff up from there for my teg, really is an amazing place, you walk into the warehouse and the one word that comes out of your mouth is "whoa"

I don't think they are allowed to bring full shells over. But they have enough parts to convert anything to RHD

ok so i just talked to Nick on the phone and im going there this weekend if possible haha.....he has jdm motorized foglights for my car...

thats AMAZING haha...plus he is VERY detailed about what he does, which counts especially when they cut an MR2 in half when it comes to wiring...

They have a few nice mr2 clips in stock too.
You would probably be better off with a swap then a 5sfTe. Some of the early 90s 5sfe didn't have a knock sensor, or the updated metal head gasket that the 98 and 99s that Manny (mr2oc) has been setting records with.

I of course agree with everything said above considering Nick (the owner) is one of my buddies and I work with him trying to get the Business name out there. Very few Businesses in this feild allow you to stroll on in and feel at home whether it be good conversation or a personal tour of JDM heaven. Customer service IS the key to any successfull Business and Nick lives by this rule.

No need to crawl threw junk yards anymore (theres way more then just clips and engines at elite).. Just pick up the phone or stop in.

But on a serious note. No bull****. Elite JDM kicks ass. There prices are very affordable. The amount of time it takes to organize the parts those guys have has to be something that takes hours every day. Just call them up for anything and Nick and Anthony will help you out.

me and my boy mike took a ride down there after work yesterday. Mind you i get off work at 6 and they close at 6. Nick and 2 of his employees were still there and everyone rolled but Nick. When you talk about a dedicated import enthuisist, supplier, all of the above there is no reason why Nicks name shouldnt pop up first. We were there till about 7:45 shooting the **** with Nick, we got the tour around the place, and as mentioned above in previous posts, the only word that comes to mind is woah. This place is so clean, organized, i mean i cant praise this place enough. If anyone is ever looking for anythign i HIGHLY recommend heading down there. I've been there once with Poormans'r and namdoogwerdna, I didnt buy anything but damn it was an awesome experience. I was in heaven just looking at all the S-Chassis stuff, wishing i still had my 240 :(

Nick is a great guy, worked with us well, gave my buddies great prices and he literally has anything from what I saw. Great place.
