I have also onwed a 1990 Fox body Mustang with true duel.
I currently own a 1997 Ford mustang its Just stock for now. ;)
My father used to restore old cars & I'd like to follow in his foot steps since he has passed away.

I will share what my tires looked like before i replaced them. I was driving around with racing slicks (My own Doing) I couldn't stop most of the time it was fun. Then my mechanic said Kim in good faith I can't let you drive around knowing your driving with these tires you have to replace them for inspection. Haha well you can speed in almost any car, despite the power. It just takes you a bit longer to get there.

EDIT: Do not spend any money modifying the 6. Unless you're going big with forced induction it is not worth it.

I had a 99 v6 and the damn thing barely moved above 120 on the OC expressway and I was pushing it for a couple miles once I got it up there... there is no way you've got enough room on 309 to move a 97 v6 up to 130 and still be racing...

You must be racing dead goats if you haven't lost a race... v6 stangs are slow as balls... the v8's could barely hold their own up until the latest generation.

I had a 99 v6 and the damn thing barely moved above 120 on the OC expressway and I was pushing it for a couple miles once I got it up there... there is no way you've got enough room on 309 to move a 97 v6 up to 130 and still be racing...

You must be racing dead goats if you haven't lost a race... v6 stangs are slow as balls... the v8's could barely hold their own up until the latest generation.

I love mustangs... I've had two... I found an SVO for sale a few weeks ago for 4k and I was damn ready to buy it.

My first stand was a 73 ragtop that I drove through out my senior year in highschool, and went to car shows with. then was the 99v6.

I'm very much tempted to trade the srt in on a new GT.

I love mustangs... but not the v6's or the 90's era v8's... The cobras were slow even...

Yes they did (still do?). Most of the stangs that I've seen with forced induction have changed the rear end. No more one wheel burn outs lol.
