OK heres how it is in NJ sexual contact with a person over the age of 16 and under the age of 18 is in most cases not a crime. If your a person who has some degree of control over the other person it is a crime ie;Teacher, Supervisor, Babysitter,Guardian ect.
Now, man to man I would say since your old enough to go places a teenage girl can't leave the 17yrs alone.

i know this is old, but your thread on age of consent. in a commonwealth, 18 is age of consent. Anyone under 18 it is 'contributing to the delinquency of a minor' and is punishable by up to 1 yr in jail. and as bad as it sounds, pa, especially where you and i live, depending the township that you're caught in, will def, without a doubt, prosecute you to a high degree..

hell look in the paper where the warwick band teach was messing with that 17 yr old girl, they got him for rape and other ****, cause they pressed the issue super hard.

be careful.

interesting pm i got from this thread. i'm sure part of that has to do with him being a teacher/position of authority. it is funny the number of hits on here considering i only asked cuz you hear all kinds of different things and wanted to know what the actual rules are.

Age of consent in PA is 16 as it applies to this situation

Chapter 31
Subchapter B § 3122.1

Statutory Sexual Assault

A person commits a felony of the second degree when that person engages in sexual intercourse with a complaintant under the age of 16 and that person is four or more years older than the complaintant and the complaintant and the person are not married to each other.

So if they are 15 you can be no older than 18. If they are 16 or older and if its consensual then there are no legal problems.
