Can anybody help me? I saw some where some pictures of a Rat Rod style Evo but I can't find them.

thats the stupidest thing i have ever heard... lets take a 30,000 car and paint it up all dumb and put stupid wheels on it!! If you find the pic, or the owner for that matter, Let them know I think they are very very very dumb.

Obviously a wrecked car bought back from the insurance company...the thing probably rips with all that weight off!!!! Throw a cage in it, a lil chassis work and that's a nice "dune buggy" if you live somewhere with trails and stuff :)
I'd def keep the thing! It's still an evo lol.

mike, those are not rat rods. flat blacking your car does not make it a rat rod... sticking feathers up your butt does not make you a chicken.

Its a 30,000 dollar car, not a lambo. I don't see much of a difference between ratting out a fast civic and ratting out a evo. They only have lke 10,000 in price difference nowadays.....if even that depending on the year.

I think its tasteless, why would you knowingly make your car look like ****? If someone can answer me that then fine, but so fat all Ive heard is people saying oh its cool....WHY IS IT COOL? if I drove up in a 89 civic in mint contition, painted it black, put wheels on and painted them red and put a stupid loud exhaust on it you would call me a ricer for ruining a perfectly good car.

Its all in taste. Some people like cars that look that way. Sure they can look liek total ass, but i've seen a lot of 'rat ride' vdubs and hondas that are put together well and aren't piles of ****, they just carry the looks of the genre.
Its all a matter of opinion. Everyone has one, some people like to be different.

exactly. its the exact same thing with the brand new sti that sportcompactcar (i believe) did. painting it flat black with spray cans in someones garage. i personally liked it

if it was a real rat rod it would be stripped down to bare, rusty metal. i love rat rods, i've always wanted a model a pickup ratted out. my dad hates them and claims they were the rice of his day.

im sick of people useing the term RatRod for a car that is by no way even close to what a REAL RatRod really is . people honestly think that if they flat black a car that is newer then 1965 throw on white wall tires and paint the wheels red that it makes it a rat rod ???? give me a freakin break !! if its not pre '65 its not a god damn ratrod !

im gonna have to agree that none of these newer cars can really be made into rat rods lol
well i guess its possible, but not without major mods... like lots of chopping and moving around :lol:

really what are you gonna do take a 08 car, strip the paint and sit it out side hopeing that it rots out like a car from the 30's ?? give me a freakin break . my cav is flat gray but i dont go around claming that its a "ratrod" , i can do that with my '52 Ford , why should i call my cav a ratrod?
