Anyone know if the RS hood is aluminum, like I believe the STi's is?

rs hood is not aluminum but that can be made up with the less drag the scoooples creates + jdm bumper beam + spare tire removal + lightweight battery + diet haha

Eh, I'd have to see the numbers. I don't think I want to add weight just to remove the scoop. I was thinking of doing a reverse scoop, anyway.
Depending on the weight, I'd need some monetary convincing to do it ;)

i wouldnt ditch the aluminum hood personally. go with a reverse scoop...

i have a nearly new sti tmic fs though, perfect condition for $300.
