I recently let someone take my stock exhaust for my elantra to try and fit it on his, and he managed to make it fit. I'm in pretty good need/want for money, but I don't really want to overcharge him.

Whats a resonable asking price for 2 stock cats and resonator? I'm not including pipe cause I doubt its worth enough? Or is it?

I have no idea on the price of this stuff.... :o Thanks everyone!

Cats are worth about $50-$100 each last i heard because of the metals inside of them, and thats if you sell them to someone who will melt them down. Resonators arent really worth much I dont think...200-250 is fair IMO

-or-

Find out what the stuff costs new and make it worth the guy's time to buy from you instead

for the most part stock exhaust off any car is not worth very much. I'd say like $75 at the most.

Depends on the size of the cat.
I sold my one OEM cat for $185 + shipping on ebay. They have precious metals such as platinum inside, and recycling centers will melt the metal and sell it for $$$.

Do you have any pictures or dimensions of the cats?

Most junkyards will buy cats for a good amount of money. I know the one by me will pay around $50 per cat. Call around different places and see what they say.
