Today is just one of those days when I REALLY don't want to be here at work. I'm just really blah. I just wanna go home and work on my car. Some days I love my job, other days (like today) I hate it. just in a pissy mood. how is everyone else's day so far? You can come here to rant about stupid coworkers, customers, bosses, etc. Lets vent!

I get thursday's off because my boss goes to NY for meetings with the board, so my day has been great. I just woke up 25 minutes ago. :)

I had surprise inspection at my office today by the TSA. The last 2 years I've gotten lucky. They've called in advance and let me know they were coming. Today the officer just knocked on my office door. lol went OK though, so no worries. I was just caught off guard and it was a crazy start to my day.

I feel like ****. I've been at work since 7 this morning, and I don't get out until 9 with no breaks, no lunch. I have to find time to eat. Figures, as soon as the food gets here the phone is bowing up and there are 17 people in here.

Meh today has been ok. Second day in a row that we've cooked out, and free food is always a plus. I just keep thinking its Friday and yesterday I kept thinking it was Thursday. Thats really annoying.

My day is okay. I'm soo tired. I keep thinking today is Friday as well. I get paid on Thursdays...so I am just waiting for my paycheck to get here then I can leave. I didnt have any money for breakfast or lunch...I am so hungry... :lol:

Day was alright. I pretty much did nothing all day up until 12, then when I got home, ate something and sat in my bed and watched tv. Tonight calls for a beer or two. :)

Today is typically my day OFF but it is the last day of the month so I got in at 10 this morning and probably wont get outta here till 9 tonight. Just sat down for hte first time in 7 hours a couple minute ago so I am already wiped. Making money though so that makes everything better...

UGH! went to meineke after work to get them to make me an adaptor, got home, found it it wasn't even close to what I needed. Worked on the coupe till about 15 minutes ago. Sheesh.

I have a really light work load today and then tomorrow I have off. Friday after work I'm headed down the shore, so Friday will be a very painful day at work, i'm sure.

wish i would get laid off!... collect some un-employment and go back to freelancing, and possibly school.

Rant: My manager is a woman (probably one of the only ones in her position in the entire industry) and despite working in a shop, she feels that she does not need to do any heavy lifting or hard work. She just sits in her office and cranks the AC down to 72 (I'm FREEZING MY BUTT OFF!) and talks on the phone and looks at TMZ.com all day... making WAY more money than me and having more authority and priviledges. She also uses her position to funnel jobs to her husband, who works in the business.
Oh yeah, and she thinks she knows everything (even tho she never worked a day on set in her life) by osmosis thru her husband and she is never wrong... eg. I just asked her how many cables we sent with a lighting kit, she goes "ah, it says it right on the paperwork." like i'm a dumbass who can't read. I'm like "I'm looking right at the paperwork, and its not on there". "Yes it is" she says. OMG!!!!!!!! what a _ _ _ _ _ !!!!!

She ONLY does rentals, while i assist her w/ rentals, do rentals on my own, i do sales ALONE, shipping, Camera dept., AND i work in the shop when all our guys are out.

Basically, i do just as much, if not more than her, and get paid much less. I need a new job. i've been saying that for months now. But how do i look for a new job when i'm sitting at work all day? I don't want to quit, because i need the money... AARRGGGHh!!


EDIT: and i just had a 2-day vacation (the longest i've taken since starting here 2 years ago) last week! and its only wednesday!!! someone shoot me!
