I just can't help it! I LOVE NISSAN! I can't get away from it. I was dead set on buying a cobra, and now that I got this coupe, I just can't decide. I just dont think I want the Cobra now. I'm back to "I have to turbo this car!", but this time I really plan to. I have the funds now to be able to do it whether its sr20 or ka-t, but either way, I HAVE to get boosted. I HAVE TO! Has anyone else gone through this? I just want to turbo my car and suprise the **** out of the people I work with!

Uh, I don't understand what turboing your Nissan has anything to do with loving Nissan. You can turbo just about any car and have fun with that.
I'm pretty much only interested in Honda/Acura anymore.

sorry I didn't make much sense lol. I was completely set on buying a mustang cobra, and keeping this car basically stock and use it as a daily driver. But since I got back into a 240 that I like, I dont want a mustang anymore, I want to work on the 240. I just love nissan and can't get away from it.

Im pretty sure you have your heart on doing this for yourself too but seriously, who cares what other people think?
To stay on topic, I have had two 240s, an s13(early 04') and my current s14. Im not loyal to Nissan in anyway, I love all cars. Ill rock anything as long as it tickles my dick

I'm a fan of many different manufacturers for different reasons. I'm loyal to Toyota because I am driving one of their best 90s sports cars and I just love the way it's built.
I give respect where it is due. But you won't see me wearing a Toyota hat/polo everywhere I go or something like that lol.
I let whatever car it is do the talking.

I would say I'm a loyalist. Right now Susie and I are working on getting a third subie to drive around. The WRX needs a break.

I seem to prefer Mitsus and Mopars. My 1st car was a Chrysler and I have only ever purchased Mitsubishis. I have owned 4 and currently have 2.
There are tons of cars I lust over, but I can't bring myself to sell either of 2 I have now. I enjoy working on them and have too many great memories to let them go.
I'm fairly confident that one day my automotive resume will include a Dodge Viper. It may not happen for another 30 years, but I will own one eventually. The other thing I can say is that I will never own a Ford.

Well, let me put it this way. I've had 7 cars in the last 3 years. A ford escort, a mustang, 4 240's, and a pathfinder. I loved all of them, but when I think about not driving a nissan anymore, I just dont like that idea. I love just about every nissan out there. I would drive any of them. They have just about any kind of vehicle you could want.

considering the vipers won't be produced after 2010, and the '98ish vipers are in the 30's now... you might be able to get one in less time than 30 years.

I love Toyotas but they have been really really lame recently. They don't have anything remotely exciting. I really love Viper GTS's and plan to get one in a few years. Or that god damn GTR. IDK
Supra + Viper or Supra + GTR= heaven

I've owned a few different makes and tinkered with a bunch but I am loyal to Honda...at least for a good reliable daily driver that gets amazing gas mileage :)

Absolutely not me. I always find something that I like in a certain manufacturer, and there is usually something that one will do better than all others.
When I had my neon, I told myself I would get an R/T after (back when I was young and stupid), but after seeing the civic, I liked the build quality more, gas mileage, and it rode well.
When I had my civic, I told myself I would get an Si after, but after driving the Miata, I liked the handling and build quality and features more, plus it had torque.
I dont plan to get another Mazda for my next car, not intentionally anyway, although I would get a 3 as a daily driver, because its cheap and has a lot of features especially the 2.3S GT, but I'm sure there are others out there which are even better.
Personally about Nissan, I never liked the feel of them. They feel kinda cheap and basic to me, granted they have good options, but for example the 04 Maxima 6-speed we had had a great number of buttons and knobs in the center console that were all jammed into one small space and writing was small, I just havent driven a Nissan that really seemed clever, aside from the Murano, I liked how the TV flipped back out of the center armrest.

i currently own 3 nissans. i had 3 different ones in the past. ive had a chevy truck and a mazda truck in the past as well. needless to say i drive nothing but nissan cars/ trucks on the road right now. im def a big fan of the s chassis. used s chassis just covers a nice niche for me. uber cheap car thats lots of fun and has lots of potential. i loved all my s13s so much i sprung and bought an s12 just because. at one time in my life i did dream of owning an f body or a fox body... or even a truck with a sbc swap. but i guess i gave them up. i think someday i may still try to get myself a muscle car or a vette. but im no hurry

I did the whole American Muscle thing. Bought the Fbody, loved it at first. Was super happy with the purchase. At the time the Honda wasn't drivable, so there was nothing to compare it to. Once I got the Honda back on the road, it only took me about a week and a half to dislike the Camaro. It just wasn't any fun, in fact, I found the car extremely boring.
So now I'm looking for another Honda to build as a nice DD.

I'm definitely not brand loyal. I went Chevy > Subaru > VW > Mazda.
I like to play the field.

You're not the only one. I love Nissan, too!
I've never been so desperate for anything in my life. I need a car so bad right now and all these great deals keep coming to me and I keep turning them down because they aren't 240s. Like, I found a really clean '95 Corolla, 5spd for like $900 bucks. I turned it down because I knew if I bought it, I'd end up finding a 240.

well like I said, I did the muscle car thing. ****, I work for a website that only does mustangs. (well, we have a small sister site for vettes) I deal with mustangs all day everyday, and still after getting back in my 240 (one I liked, I wasn't a fan of the s14 very much at all) I'm hooked again.

Went from my old Cavalier to the current wagon. Driven cars from most of the major automotive manufacturers out there. I gotta say, when it comes to what I want, most of those companies have what I am looking for, so its only a matter of getting the best deal on what I need/want in a car, regardless of badge on the car.

Well Nissan FTW here. I have owned 2 maxima's, a 95 5 speed and a 96 gle, 3 sentra's, a 4 speed b12 with power nothing, a b15 spec V, which was my biggest mistake, and caused me to go back to the old school nissans. That is why I bought my current nissan, which is b13 se-r w/ a sr20det gti-r swap. Next I'll be buying a 92 240 as my DD:cool:

There are all types of cars I have owned or driven and loved...but there will always be a BMW in my driveway. For me it has always been a great driving experience with BMW's if it was one of my own or a friends. They have always been a blast to drive.
Nothing but Toyota's and Subaru's for life.
