It's called the Philly Choke. You should be used to it by now.

So depressing, I hate jagr with a HUUUGE passion. I wish hatcher was playing and would have laid him out. Good thing there are 7 more meetings.

One game does not make "a choking situation".

Now, four in a row in the finals....................

Or four in a row in the conference finals, when up 3-1....................

Eh, 81 more chances to get it right.

yeah to bad i have never been a fan of MOST of the flyers goaltenders (especially Esche) yet i have always been a team fan. im sry but just because a goaltenders past doesnt mean his future will be bright as well, that goes for every player, i think it is time for the flyers to let him go soo if not start looking for a main more well known and expeirenced player so we dont get blown away last minute by a couple of wrist shots GLOVE SIDE AT WAIST LEVEL. im sry but glove side has always seemed to me as the hardest side to get by, on atleast myself i am an experienced goaltender, i just dont get how u can just watch the puck as it floats by you slower then a match box car and into the net two times in a row less then 2 minutes a part from eachother, which later on blew the game lead.

sry i had to vent it... i was so exicted to watch hockey again yet ill be exicited even more when Roy comes out of retirement and replaces Esche (LOL in my dreams lol)

Dude, they all let in bad goals from time to time. And if a player's past is irrelevant, why should they go for someone more "well known"? Isn't that kinda contradictory?

S**T happens. Get over it.

I think esche will be just fine. On a few of the goals he was screened, granted, so was Weeks and he made alot of nice saves but esche didnt get nearly the work load. As every hockey fan knows, the more work a goalie gets, the more "in the zone" he gets. Esche was sitting around playing spectator for most of the first, and part of the second, during all the power plays. As a pro he should still make the saves, but he most likely put a huge amount of pressure on himself and was just a bit off his timing because of it. I am not worried!

Esche is the Flyers last legit goaltender since veezer was good.

I can't wait to go to some games this year.
