Bike are just so fast....well the 1000+cc bikes are imo.
Nice...Loving the R 1 guy riding in Shorts...Awesome!!!

+1, i rec'd an arm amputated above the elbow last week from some Dope not wearing any safty equipment while riding a bike. From the knuckls to the elbow was shaved to about 5mm of bone remaining, and it was probably only a 50-60mph dump! An ounce of prevention would have saved that arm! AT least wear freaking gloves! If you go down even at 15mph without gloves, you r gona f-up your hands pretty well...gloves on and your back up laughing about it.

Def a fast DSM! That R1 was the only one who had a chance.

not to be a dick, but the only bike he beats is a 636. the 750 is right next to him and starts to pull then sits up and lets off. he beat a 636 which isn't that hard.

ya, seriously, the 750cc bikes are 10 second machines and the car in the OP, Talon, may be a 10 second car with a good pass...thus a 750 and that car will be very close, as above noted, but i give it to the bike. But a HBusa, R1 or Z11 will pull on it hard. From a stop, the AWD will get them till like 70mph Id bet, esp with awd and that trany (sheppard DDG)!!

well you gotta figure also, its a r1. If you can ride them stock it will go 9.7-10.0 STOCK. that r1 wasnt stock. The first run the r1 had alittle trouble getting a fender on him... 680hp that car will go 9s, and trap in the 140s.

I've never seen a R1 run a 9 second 1/4 stock. their like 150bhp so with exhaust and a PC its what 152bhp! these are bikes not cars. I have no doubt that DSM can run 9s though, its just running from a roll ****s a different story. My 750 could trap 139 when i was 245lbs. I'm pretty sure from a roll the bikes are gonna walk after 100.

No doubt any of the aforementioned bikes are deadly fast. To say the Talon "may" be a 10 second car on a good pass is rediculous. My 2690 lb. 93 AWD with a 20g was running consistent 11.0's before we changed the set-up completely. That set-up may have produced 450-470 at the wheels. The key was the power/weight ratio along with a ragged edge tune and some insane driving. The 680 h.p. Talon should be scary fast with even a decent driver behind the wheel.

I totally agree. While it doesn't appear to be much on paper it's a world of difference in seat of the pants feel.

lol @ the dude wearing shorts.

Racing bikes is always fun. I've only raced a couple of bikes in my vette but never lost yet. just like anything else I think it comes down to the rider/driver most of all. I'm sure with a better rider the outcome would have been different in my case, but it sure was fun to pull on them with my wife in the car

i have no doubt that your car could pull and a 600 or even a 750 from a roll. that thing moves!

Who uses the clutch....I mean the guy on the R1 obviously

The car did good and is deff fast but it wasnt posing a significant threat to the bigger bikes, speeds had to be rolling up there too should have stopped their pull around 130ish

Beating bikes is good stuff, my vette is undefeated :)
