That was nuts! I saw it and was like 'whoa this is crazy,' then realized he was speaking ENGLISH and flipped out.
This show is way too suspenseful, it's all a build up for the last 5 minutes of the show, then the previews just get you anticipating the next week. but I love it anyway.

I wonder if it’s something natural (unusually natural.) Like some kind of solid block of uranium or, some super-electrically charged material (intense magnetic field.) It’s gotta be something un-manned made… that would be more mysterious.

I liked the idea of a concrete foundation (and a 10 foot wall of concrete)… pretty interesting.

OK...You are gonna have to read this atleast 2-3 times and then you probably will still be confused like the rest of the world. This theory has me sold. But now the whole show is moving more towards an island made for scientific research, but something went wrong...

It seems like the numbers and the plot on Lost may have been cracked. This explanation holds up especially after tonight's Season 2 premier episode.

There is a book (theory) called "Genetic Mirror Theory and other Natuarlly Occuring Phenomenon," by Marsille Roussau. Someone posted online this:

I recently found an interesting natuarlly occuring thoery found in our world that states everyone has a mirror image somewhere in the world. You may have heard of this. Its called Roussau's genetic mirror theory, and I must say it is very interesting. Roussau's genetic mirror theory says that everyone in the world has an exact twin somewhere, however according to the theory you never encounter this person, by laws of probablitly and other natuaral occuring phemnomen. Its the theory that was devised by a French Mathematician named Marseille Roussau in the year 1988. He used a series of numbers to explain his theory. Now I know you're not going to believe this but here goes.

Let me explain...

The 4 stands for 4 degrees of separation (not 6 or 7 as commonly stated.) Roussau believed that everyone in the world was connected by four different people. So in theory could meet yourself by using four different people connected to you. Example: Your brother's, boss's, neighbor nephew, knows your mirror. Hard to believe, I know but keep reading.

The 8 stands for the eight continent, or the only place in the world where you could meet your mirror. He calculated it to be somewhere in the south pacific. Now we know its not actually as large as the other contintents but its used figurtively because everyone in all 7 continents could meet there mirror on the 8th universal continent.

The 15 stands for the chances of you acually meeting yourself on this place, as in 15 out of 4,815,162,342. Look at the second set "815." Ring any bells? Interesting huh?

The 16 stands for the maximum amount of people that could encounter thier twin all at the same time. Think about the number of main characters.

The 23 is the number of years apart your twin and yourself are. You are not the same age as your twin. By chance and probablity it takes 23 years exactly for the same genes that made you to be connected again to form another you.

The 42 stands for the maximimum number of years your twin and yourself can be alive at the same time. However people do die at diffferent times so thats why everyone isn't dead at 75. For example my twin was born on Sept. 6 2003 b/c i was born on Spet. 6 1980. Now that doesn't mean i will die in the year 2045, I could, but its not set in stone. My twin could die when he is 16, and then the whole thing starts over again.

This is all very complicated and I don't know how well I explained it but the connections with the show are too coinidental to not be real.

Roussau and his team (wife, included) went to the 8th continent. You can figure out how they died and why by the numbers and equations. It also fits with every character. You can predict when they will die. There are others on the island who are twins of the survivors, but have been there 23 years longer.

There is a book Roussau wrote 16 years ago in 1988 when he came up with the theory. Thats where I got it from.

Sheet of script ends with Jack being tackled to the ground by... someone who looks EXACLTY like him. The theory explains that. There is a guy on the boat who looked a lot like Sawyer - maybe his "twin"? The French woman's name is the same as the guy with the GMT theory.

Jack met Desmond at the stadium, and then on the island. Perhaps he met both of Desmond somehow? Locke was spotted in the hospital.

This is all starting to come together now. Maybe :)

Couple of things.

You guys seen the Justice Leauge, I am Legion episode? That Paul Dinni(memeber of the writing team) plots and produces. The leauge went to an island that HAd a "bunker" and an auto mated "security system" that included sharks and robots in the jungle.

Appears Paul is taking the piss or giving bits away to people who care.

Next is the massive parralells between the characters of Lost and X-men.

Jack = Cyclops ( leader)

Sawyer=Wolverine (scruffy ladiesman, wolverines name Logan is taken from the guy that killed his parents.)

Kate- jean Grey( She killed alot of people, love triagle with jack and sawyer)

Locke=professor x( bald guy in wheel char who knows stuff)

Hurley= beast( fat hariy dude)

The kidnapping of Walt, is the same as cycops and jeans kid being taken, he will now be interacting with them grown up like Cable did, most likely as the dude from OZ.

Some is a stretch but the character types and especially the sawyer wolverine parralells is very close.

As the writting team includes comic writers and JJ Abrams is a comic fan doesn t seem a stretch.

I have a good feeling that Anna Lucia is a cop, and she was also on the plane to look after Kate. There is no reason that they would put Kate onto the plane with a personal air marshall unless she commited a crime like killing a cop.

Or possible Anna Lucia was part of the Robbery where Kate killed the man. And Anna was following her to get revenge for killing her friend.

Either way, I believe that Anna will kill Kate...

Don't forget that there are 3 people who could be "Lost forever". They also said "lost forever", not DEAD.

Also, remember how many people have been shot so far on the island and lived to talk about it. Sawyer was shot on the boat, he lived (so far). The Marshal was shot and he lived (until they killed him). And I am sure that there are some more that I am forgetting.

Has anyone noticed the first 45 minutes are pretty average-paced, the last 15 are pretty intense, but the last 5 are just insane? I second the love/hate statement.

I have no idea who is 'lost forever,' but the one Tailie (new people) who just disapeared was random as anything. I want to read the forums, but I think i'll save it for tomorow so I can get some sleep tonight. I'll post up tomorow if I find anything interesting on there.

Did you watch last season? The main characters (front of the plane) had someone a lot like Goodwin, named Ethan. They're basically spies for the Others.
I'm confused how Anna Lucia killed him so easily though, Ethan had incredible strength and he seemed not too.

The most intriguing things to me were Echo just in general, and the 'stuff' they found where the Tailies (Anna's gang) were living, like the Bible and glass eye and stuff.

I'm also really curious what's happening next week, so much violence, haha.

Did you watch it last season or did you watch the DVDs? If you watched it last season, it was just as fast. But if you watched the DVDs, you saw 1 after another and it seemed much faster. I personally like it as it is because they give you enough to wonder about all week, and then next week they twist is enough to make everything you thought wrong!

Yup, but we never saw it for that length of time if I remember correctly. You seem to have a better knowledge of the show than me though, have you looked at what the Lost boards are saying at all? They talk about some crazy stuff, but whenever I go on there I stay on for hours, I'm not up for that tonight haha.

It seemed to be a 'confrontation of demons' type of thing with the smoke. That was the most high-stress part of the episode for me, and the whole Walt situation is starting to get to me. Next week will be nuts, scenes from the next episode are what get me every time.

You are right, never for long, just a few seconds. Many on those boards used to think that the smoke was swarms of "nanobots". Or small robots that are used for medical procedures. That has since been dis-regarded.

I try to follow the boards when i have time, but there is just too much to follow there. You have to devote your life to those boards. Each post is like a War Stories post whore thread, but filled with info and thoughts!

BTW im starting to sway towards this purgatory thing. And the black smoke being the devil/judge. Everyone who is there has had a past that isnt so pretty. Anna Lucia killed a man, kate killed a man, jack disowned his dad, charlie was a hardcore druggie, ecko was a militia leader, michael was a horibble dad (so it seems)......and the drug smuggler on the plane was obviously not a good person. Its seems they are all there because they may have good inside of them but they have done bad in the past. This is even more solidified by the fact that all of the children were taken away. Childrens hearts/souls are said to be more pure because they have not been exposed or thought about the evils that exists in the world. And again, this is backed up by when anna lucia confronted the man who she thought was not on the plane. He said " (so and so) doesnt matter.....he wasnt a good person".

so thats my take, im still kinda "LOST" but next week ill be watching

I somehow caught him on a talk show yesterday afternoon and he said that Charlie was getting "darker" and going back to drugs, but only because in order for heroes to rise they have to fall first. I dunno, that's just what he said.

There are many images in the cloud of black smoke…

…an image of Echo's brother’s church, the face of the man Mr. Echo shot as a young boy, an image of Echo holding his brother after he was killed at the plane, image of one of Echo’s two crime partners, an image of Echo as a young boy (which was upside down as it flashed inside the cloud,) an image of a woman in the village, and an image of a crucifixion.

I was slowly going through each frame my VCR captured and saw all of those images. I did that for about 30 minutes.:rolleyes:
