Krazy House Customs is entering the 2008 AKARALLY from New York City to Las Vegas. We are entering the FIRST fullsize, lifted, turbo diesel truck ever in a rally against sports cars.
The race leaves From New York City on Aug 19th and we will arrive in Las Vegas for the awards ceremony on Aug 25th! We will keep you posted when we find out more information!

yea alot of people are talking about it, actually really excited to get this on the road, ive been on the phone for 3 days getting sponsors to put stickers on the truck and so far its been looking really good.

we are actually shooting for about 700hp and 1000+ft/lbs or torque for the event. looking forward to the drag strip event along the way :-)

well we might (i have not seen numbers of the other cars) make the most numbers on the dyno, but were also making the most numbers on the scale. Im not saying were going to win the rally, we are just making a name for ourselves and doing something someone has not done yet.

just a quick update, the rally left at 9 a.m. this morning from NYC and the first stop is in ohio, as of right now i just got off the phone, krazy house had an early jump this morning and is about an hour ahead of the rest of the group.

DAY 2 of the AKA rally....brandon and john were beat to the second checkpoint by the pace car..and a ferrari. :mrgreen: STILL holding it down in a lifted truck!

very unfortunate news, the trucks turbo has taken a dump in illinois :-(, we have a turbo and a mechanic waiting for us in iowa, but its going to be a 5 hour delay....noo good.

Well the akarally has officially ended in las vegas. WE MADE IT, we were actually to the last check point in vegas first. besides the 37 " mud grapplers falling apart. and the stock dodge turbo going bad were there, we will have a full post up on stories as soon as the guys get back to the shop, here are 2 pictures as a hold me over.
