I just got a baby eastern milksnake but I an having hard time finding pinkies small enough for it. I'm guessing I'm going to have to find day old pinkies and maybe cut them in half or something. If anyone knows a place in the Burlington county area or maybe near Trenton that has pinkies that small please help me out with an addy or phone #.
Thanks
it cant eat bugs? you might be able to get away with big crickets for a while. if not i'd try aquarium discount pet center. its on 73 next to desimone BMW just past the 70/73 circle

i would try the crickets. just gut-load them and it should be ok until it gets a little bigger. another option would be to try some worms. butter worms are a great food, low in fat and high in protein. i feed them to some of my frogs. they all love them. much better than wax worms. chopped earthworms are also a good food.

I have owned many snakes. I can get very small pinkies. I will post the number tomorrow. I am a little drunk right now

Thanks for the replys. So far I have tried worms and crickets and it didn't seem even remotely interested in them. It was captured by a friend of mine last week so after going that long without eating I would assume it would be getting hungry by now. I tried aquarium discount but they didn't have any small pinkies. I heard petco may have them so I will make a trip to Willingboro on my way home from work. Worse case I will just go with a larger pinkie and chop it up but I know that will be a real mess so I'm trying to avoid it.

here are a couple pics, as you can see its a little small for an average size pinkie.

I mainly keep scorpions so the snake thing is a bit new to me, I just want to be sure it does well.

Thanks for the help but after making about a dozen calls yestrday I found a place in Mt. Holly that sells them. They are quite a bit more expensive but I only needed a few to tide it over until I get my order of frozen in the mail from rodent pro.
Thanks again
