doesn't look too bad, imo... is that even a rwd model tho... doesn't look like it. and i'm not taking the 3 minutes it would take to google and find out.

seriously, that car is older than most of the posters on this site! I'm willing to bet a day with a PDR guy and someone who really knows how to detail, plus some parts: headlights, rubstrips and possibly some interior pieces, and you will have a great looking car. If you are expecting to find an immaculate 80's car for 3k you are dreaming.

Its still 3k for a car from 1987.
Which is way too much. I still don't think people realize that you need to replace everything on those cars to make them even remotely good.

first good find and not a bad price if he includes the silvertop swap with it.

new clutch $ 250.
header and exhuast $500.
water line convertion "the wright way" $800.
optional distributor relocation kit $900.
radiator + fans +relays $300.
optional manual steering rack $300.
if you want p/s add $300. to the bill.
if sr5 walbro inline fuel pump plus acc and modification $ 300.
if gts $120.
labor if your lucky to find a shop to do this swap "starting" $1500. and up
thats over $8000. FOR THAT SWAP. well i wouldn't charge that much.

Mighta been early 87 still were rwd then late 88 they mighta switched. I too thought 87 was fwd, unless the person selling the car has his years messed up. Oh and yeah how much for the GT-S?
