Just want to introduce myself. My name is Ray, I'm usually at Absolute steaks. I have the 86 GN, Tags say V8 KILER. You guy's are a pretty cool bunch of dudes.

Probably my favorite car from the 80's.
Nice looking ride you have there.

mmm turbo 6, GN's are one of my top cars I wish I could have. very nice looking car there.

I feel the same way about them as already mentioned. Ever since the first time I got behind one at the Levittown Parkway and it smoked a mustang with buslengths to spare I've had much respect for them.
I especially like it when they dump the exhaust in the fender wheel well and the car sounds like a jet plane at a slow cruise.

Thanks for the complements guy's! My mods are: .030 over, JE pistons, VPE racing heads,TE45A Turbo, 55lb. injectors, Yada Yada Yada. It runs low 11's on street trim (Radials, mild boost & timing).

GN's are such beautiful machines...I've seen it up at some meets. Sorry if I left a mark on it. :eek:

Doubtful that you'll take him even off the line, especially if he has a higher stalll which I would definitely suspect he has at least a 3000. In fact that is their strong point................building gobs of boost and torque off the line and taking off harder than an AWD.

Vigilante 3500 stall, Leaving on a Trans brake at 15lbs of boost :mrgreen:
